If my circumstances were different at the time, I would have gone to college.I did apply to college, however, at the time there were 7 of us living at home(siblings) both parents were working 2 jobs and I also took a job when I graduated High School, to help bring income to the household to help my parents, then I moved out and continued to supplement their needs while maintaining my own household. That was 30 years ago, and since then I've raised a family of my own and sent 2 of the 5 to college and my wife went back to school 14 years ago and got her degree in social services and enjoys a wonderful career helping less fortunate individuals with disabilities. I decided it was my turn to further my education and since I was probably one of the first to own a PC ( an IBM PC Jr.) and have always been intrigued by computers it makes sense to pursue an IT job, since all the money magazines point to computers as the career with the greatest potential it was a no -brainer. I would really appreciate your consideration for this scholarship. Thank You
