I have enjoyed myself so much at this school that I would recommend anyone to go here. However, I would advise these people to be academically-driven and to be willing to be social. This school has many large classes so new students should be willing to talk to other students and aim to make new friends. There are many ways to get involved so students should definitely use these opportunities to meet new people and to give themselves these chances to grow as a person and be happy with who they are becoming at this school.

Anyone looking to pursue a 4-year degree would be great at ISU, provided they can be successful in a large campus environment.

Any kind of person can attend this school. ISU has a lot to offer, even with its large range of students. This college is mostly catered to the engineering side of campus, so people in LAS or other colleges don't get the attention (academically and financially) that is needed.

We are dominantly seen as and Agriculture and Engineering school, but you can study pretty much anything you want to. If you have a negative attitude about school, and are only going to college so your parents will get off your back, then Iowa State is not for you.

The people who should attend this school are those who are excited to get to know new people. Iowa State has so many fun clubs! No matter what your interests are, there's a club for you. I wish I had joined more as a freshman. The people who attend this school should also be academically oriented. Although there are some classes (mostly lower level) that can be easily passed, getting a good GPA will set you apart from the people who skimmed by on barely passing grades in their first years.

Iowa State turns out the best in fields of engineering and agriculture and is great for other majors too, such as business and design and the professors are always willing to help. Iowa State is also great for students looking into joining a greek community. Our greek community has been ranked the best in the nation. The social scene here is also top notch, between VEISHEA and Homecoming, you can't lose!

If you want to be able to be invoved in the many different organizations while also maintaining a good GPA you must be able to be hard working. Also someone who likes a big school with a variety of small and big class sizes. If you want an adventure Iowa state is the place for you. At Iowa State there are many different majors and you can also study abroad at numerous places around the world.

Iowa State is an ubeat community with a homey feel. The type of person attending this school needs to be willing to meet new people and face large group settings. They need to have the ability to do things for themselves and have spirit for their cyclone teams. A positive attitude and a willingness to try new things is also helpful because the school has such a different feel from most others; it is relaxing and spirited at the same time. A cyclone needs a lot of heart and passion.

Professors, advisors, other students, and faculty all work to enrich the atmosphere and the quality of the education that we are paying for.

Everyone here at ISU is so welcoming and friendly that I feel it would be almost impossible to feel like you do not fit in here. The engineering program is one of the top in the country. Although, students in other majors would also enjoy this school.
