The class sizes. They are small and conducive to individualized learning. The professors are educated and see me as a person and not just another student or face in the crowd. I can go to them with questions and they always find time to help sort out the answers.

Iowa Wesleyan College campus has the "small-town" feel and you feel right at home when you are there. The campus is beautiful and there are many historic buildings of interest to admire. They have many grants and other programs to help you pay for college so that much of it doesn't need to be paid out-of-pocket. This is a big plus for students having difficulty financing their education at other colleges or universities. I qualified for more financial at IWC then my local junior college.

I mostly brag about the various locations and night hours that allow me to work full time and continue towards my degree.

Having previously attended a college which I did not like for various reasons, I've truly found a college where the professors are sincere and interested in the well-being and success of their students. I feel at home at Iowa Wesleyan College and this experience has been 100x more fulfilling than my first experience with college. Although it took awhile to get to where I am, I'm very glad that I made the decision to return to school and couldn't have asked for a better college.

Iowa Wesleyan College is an amazing school to attend. I have never felt more "at home" at a college before. Here we are referred to as a person, not a number. I also brag that this college is close enough to home that I can live at home and commute back and forth everday.

When I am discussing school to my friends, I want them to realize that I am getting a quality education and it is a lot of hard work. I am not just paying for my dipolma, I am definately earning it. My instructors realize that my classmates and I are busy adults who have families, work, and are trying to better ourselves with a higher education, but they still expect us to earn our grades by showing up for class and doing our work. When I am done with school I will know that I earned my degree.

I ususally brag about my favorite professors and the great classes that I have taken. I also brag about the fun actvities that are held on campus.

We maybe small but we have twice as much fun as a big school or university and we have a bond to everyone who goes here meanwhile they have a small group of friends, we have a community.

What I talk about most is how all the students get along very well. I also tell them that the faculty will help you no matter what you need. Its also very easy to stay out of trouble because there isnt much to do around campus.

Iowa wesleyan is small enough that you don't feel over looked in the classroom. Your teacher will know your name by the end of the first week and will remember it until you graduate. The campus is small enough that the buildings are within a block. Mount Pleasant however, is still large enough to have the resources for any basic needs.
