Describe the dorms.

Monica

There's a couple different dorms for students to live in. There's a female-only dorm, the Towers (West Tower and East Tower--which is where I lived in my Freshman year), Terraces, Lower Quads, and then there are upper classmen apartments, (which costs a bit more) the Garden Apartments and the Circle Apartments. Ithaca College has made a lot of adjustments for Freshman dorming; they have made a lot of the lower quads and the Towers all Freshman dorming. I'd highly recommend Freshman dorming for the incoming students as you meet so many other Freshman and if you're constantly living together, you're bound to meet most of them. My experience in East Tower was a great one. At the time, East Tower dormed upper and lower classmen and each floor was still by gender (which was nice because the girls floors were always cleaner.) But I'm so happy I lived in the Towers because I got to meet upperclassmen and made really great friends with other Freshman. It was amazing to get to walk one floor down and get to see friends. Towers really allows you to gain a huge friend base and encourages you to meet so many other students. I loved living there.
