One major problem with Ithaca college is the hills. The students are all regarded to have "itha-calves". After an entire semester I've become accustomed to the hills and even still I get winded walking from one end of campus to the other. Unactive people with the inability to endure these conditions should not attend. Also the winters are harsh with a large amount of snow and wind. There's almost never a snow day so if you can't handle the winter weather, Ithaca College is probably not the place for you.

A person who is discriminatory and close-minded should not attend Ithaca College. A lot of diverse students are enrolled and that aspect plays a large role in the campus environment.

Dependent type people should not attend Ithaca College ,because it is a school where independent thinking is emphasized. Also people that do not enjoy writing should not attend this school, because it has a writing centered curriculum. Lastly anyone that enjoys large schools should not attend Ithaca College .because it has a small student population.

Ithaca College is not for the weak-willed. It is not for those who are not determined to get around, attend classes or succeed. Ithaca is a great place to discover more about one's self, where one can mature and solidify into an independent-minded adult. Ithaca offers diverse Liberal Arts and music and science classes, clubs, student government and sports. If you are the type of person who already knows everything and just wants to sit in your dorm room and text or play video games, Ithaca is not for you.

Ithaca College is a school that has many amazing programs for the career-minded student. By this, I mean that Ithaca is not the best place to be if one is entirely unsure of what type of career they want. Once you are decided on your major the resources are infinite, but getting there can be challenging.

The only people that should not attend this school or any other are those that do not wish to succeed or are unwilling to do the work that wil oout them on the track for a better education.

The kind of person who shouldn't attend Ithaca College is someone who isn't willing to fully commit to the studies offered at the college. Ithaca College's admission process has strong standards that accept only the students the college believes will work hard and study well in their respectives majors. Another type of person who shouldn't attend Ithaca College is someone who doesn't have the capacity to appreciate some of the most beautiful topography and climate in the United States. It would be difficult for that person to tolerate cold weather that occurs

Conservatives tend to struggle at IC because it is such a liberal college and most students have lilberal political beliefs. Also, people who want to be just a number will struggle in the classrooms because most classes are discussion-based or at least have a discussion portion. Class participation is key to success.

I don't think a conservative person, or someone who is not open to new ways of thinking or ideas should come to Ithaca. Someone who wants to dwell in an urban setting would not be content with all the scenic views, they would want sky scrapers. Just be accepting and I think you will find there is something for you in the Ithaca community.

Someone who is very affected by the weather and who is not open to different kinds of people. Also if someone wants greek life they should not attend Ithaca.

If you don't like cold and you have personal predjudices against people different from you you should find some where else to go.

Anyone that is a hard-working student and enjoys to have fun on the weekends. I stress out about my work here a lot, but it helps that I am able to relax on the weekends and have fun with my friends. The school is expensive, so if you're going to spend the money, you should make sure you are willing to work hard because graduating from Ithaca College will be very good for your career in the future.

Closed minded people who aren't open to new ideas. Ithaca College tends to be on the liberal edge when it comes to new ideas and concepts so people who are resistant to change might feel uncomfortable here.

A person who wants to strictly study and is only interested in academics might be overwhelmed with the social scence here.

Someone who values greek life, wants to attend a large campus, dislikes winter weather, dislikes cliques, comes from a low income household and has a difficulty living with others from much higher income shouldn't attend this school. Also, there is not a variety of healthy choices for vegetarian students.

People that desire to always party instead of study, people that don't like small schools, people that want to see a little more diversity (in terms f race/ethnicity), and people who are a little more conservative.
