Great place to start your associates degree with a variety of classes and majors to choose from as well as affordable payment plans and scholarship opportunities. It has flexible hours for those that may work, and a diverse group of people to participate with in extra curricular activities.
I think that it is a great school. There have been a few classes to where I wasn't able to reach my online teachers very easily. However, other then that it has been a completely amazing experience and I enjoy being there. I am able to focus on my studies. They have a wonderful curriculum and our financial aid advisors are always there to help with any questions.

I would give myself the advice that I wish I could've known about back then. My mother died a year after I graduated and left me some money to go to college. I couldn't get through it because I was so depressed. My advice would be to wait a few more years (Like I have been doing) and start again. I would also advise to use the money from scholarships and Pell Grants only to buy school supplies and things I really need to get through life and college and not waste it on things I don't need like other electronic gadgets. It would be nice, yes, to have those things and I wish I didn't waste the money my mother left me to get what I did but I would advise myself not to do that again.
Before coming to this school, I definitely would have liked to have known more about computers, especially programming and the use of Adobe products like Photoshop. If I had known more basics, I would not have felt so "lost", and I would have benefitted from my class instruction more.
My classmates and myself are all here for a higher education.
My school is best known for its more affordable tuition. We have excellent instructors and curriculum for all majors. I love my school. There is such a diverse mix of people and interests.
The best thing about my school is the atmosphere; everyone is very friendly and helpful
I like to tell everyone about the computer labs. I love the fact that you can get the extra help if you need it.
Ivy Tech is a small campus with a group of students that just like to have fun while recieving an education.
Really, the only thing that I really don't like about Ivy Tech is that the building is an old elementary school and the heat varies from room to room. Also, there is no air conditioning.
I haven't found anything frustrating about my school. The people there have extremely helpful, patient and supportive.
I am not sure
I don't know
I love it. I took at campus classes last semester, and now I am taking online classes. I am 45 years old and it was different going to class 4 days a week after being out of school for 27 years.
I really wasn't there long enough
I think a person who isn't serious about their studies shouldn't attend this school. If they're only here to 'party' then they shouldn't be here. Also if they're just in it to get extra money to buy things they can't afford without student loans or Pell Grants or scholarships, they shouldn't be going here. They should use that money to get stuff they need for college and other living expenses. Not spending it on electronics like Playstations or things like that.
