I wish someone would have told me how much different the responsibility is in college. In high school I had teachers who were constantly reminding me when my assignments were due, and when tests were. However, in college, it is completely up to the student to keep track of assignments, tests, projects, etc. The responsibility level is raised, and that was something that I was not completely aware of. That is what I wish i would have been prepared for.
I wish I would have known about the flexibility of the class times. Ivy Tech Community College is a wonderful school to attend. They have classes all day from 7am to 12 midnight.
Nothing really. It was all explained in orrientation for me!
That I could have taken a year off and recieved more scholarships.
I also wish I had gone along with to have gone with my dreams to become an athletic trainer instead of listening to my parents and went to art school instead.
I wish I had known all of the resources that they have available. I learned after being in and out of school for a while all of the great things that they have to offer. They try to make things easier for working students as possible.
I wish I would have known how to get more scholarships.
I wish I would have known how quick classes fill up. Because the classes fill up quick and when a class you want is full you cant take the course.
