What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

Hannah

There are not enough social activities. Jacksonville is a small, old town, and needs a complete revamp. College students often don't stay after the school season ends, because there is nothing inspiring them to stay. There aren't movie theaters, bowling alleys, shopping, etc, nearby.

I think the food at the cafe is not healthy enough for the students. It is the most convenient place to eat on the campus but it does not provide delicious, healthy food choices everyday. I will give it credit, however, for providing salads, deli sandwiches, and wraps daily.

I absolutely love Jacksonville State University and their Nursing Program. I would have to say my biggest complaint is the distance from home. I am a ?home body? and love being able to be with my family. I was forced to get an apartment because of the driving distance and with my early morning clinical. I still have not gotten used to living away from home, this has been tough. I have no actual complaints about the school.

Anna

The worst thing about our school is the parking and how they have it set up.

Alina

The worst thing about my school is the fact that the students always leave on the weekends as opposed to staying around the campus and creating their own fun.

Meagan

The worst thing about Jacksonville State University is the parking. I am a commuter and for the hour I have to drive everyday, commuters have to farthest to park. I honestly do not understand how students who live on campus have front door parking when it is just as easy for them to walk to school. My reasoning for saying this is that I know someone who lives about 4 miles from the school and they are considered "off-campus". If students who live on campus are only a few miles away from school they should not have close parking.

Jenny

By far the worst thing about my school is the housing. I had a horrible time finding a compatable room mate the one year I stayed in the dorm. I feel that you should fill out questionairs and then the school should match room mates with each other based on same interest. Also the rooms are so small. I dont understand why most colleges don't offer single room dorms. These days most students have never had to share a room until college and it is a big adjustment.
