My opinion of Jacksonville University is fairly new because I have just been admitted to the school and have very few opinions. But they do include the class sizes which is 11 to 1 student faculty ratio which is very good for some people. The people that surround you is very good because you won't feel alone at all.
A very nice place with supportive people. They know how to help and know where to send certain people when the time comes. They are very kind and know how to console the parents and help them to be not so worried when it comes to their children. They give parents confident that their future college graduates will become very successful.
Jacksonville University is a beautiful campus that sits in the water. The facilities are modern and the atmosphere is amazing. It is academically challenging but it is expected for a top-notch education. There is a security guard on duty all day. Jacksonville is great institution of higher learning,
It has a close community and can really work well with the teachers and faculty. Downfall would have to be how expensive everything is there. Good environment to thrive on and become family with everyone on campus, but can lead to awkward situations sometimes. Dance program is great and they give wonderful advice. All teachers work with the students of what I've seen and they seem to genuinely care.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Jacksonville University is 49%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
My college experience, though it is just beginning, has been incredible. I am already expanding out of my comfort zone and trying things I never have before. However, I was accepted to many of the larger universities in my state but could not afford to go to them because I live in a single parent home and it is difficult for my father to send me off to college. We did not receive much controbution from the government but a scholarship would allow me to go and prove myself at a large University where I have always wanted to go to.
I wish that I had known about the certain professors that you have to watch out for before I came here.
Dissatisfied with their choice of college.
Someone who is afraid of being noticed. There are small class sizes so you become involved in the classes and professors. Someone who uptight and a control freak, this school is laid back but demanding the overall atomosphere is take it easy, but work hard.
This school has a great repretation in the community.
I think the worsk things about school is the stress. The constant barage of information, schedules, and the responsibility to complete all of it before deadlines. Doing this all and having to do it well.
Jacksonville University is a small four year institution located close to both the busy city and the relaxing beach, which prides itself in its multicultural environment, qualified staff, hardworking students, and Division 1 athletics.
This topic requires a student of Jacksonville University to pick their brain, due to the myriad of possibilities worthy of mention. Be it the high freshmen transfer rate (over 50 percent of the 'friends' you may make here as a freshmen transfer after their first year), the low level of academic competitiveness or even awareness, or just the general unfriendliness apparent while spending only a few hours on campus, Jacksonville University is the antithesis of college ideal. If you are interested in being surrounded by thought-stimulating academiclly oriented peers engaging in friendly intellectual competition, avoid at all costs.
Small classes give you the ability to really focus on your academic work
My school is best known for being small school with a big school feel.
I think people who are ambitious and very sure of how they are and what they want should attend this school. If you are the kind of person who just wants something great to fall into your lap by chance then this is not the school for you. You have to work hard and network in order to get where you want to be in life.
