Size and some of the teachers, TUITION is Expensive! If you do anything; avoid the loans.
Probably the worst thing about JU is the lack oof school spirit.
I honestly do not like the fact that sometimes when the school opens for students to move back into their dorms the food places on campus do not open as well. Students are forced to eat off campus and most of us do not have the funds to do so. I believe that if you open campus to students all other resources should be open as well.
The worst aspect of attending Jacksonville University on-line nursing program has been; having a great professor on-line and not being able to be in a traditional class setting. There have been a few classes that the professor has been so good that I "longed" for more time with the material and knew I could have learned so much more if I had been able to be in their regular class room.
The worst thing about Jacksonville University is the cost. It costs twice the amount as the other Universities in Florida. It is easier to get into than the other Universities in Florida. Most kids that live in a state like to go to a University in the state that they are from. It is harder to get into a school when you want to play a sport. We have had to apply for loans, grants and even borrow money. I was not able to live on campus because the cost is high.
The worst thing about my school is that it still feels like high school. It is a small school so everyone knows everyone and so the gossip and rumors seem to spread like wild fire. It is irritating that most of the students don't act like adults but instead little children who have nothing better to do but party and sleep around.
I think the worsk things about school is the stress. The constant barage of information, schedules, and the responsibility to complete all of it before deadlines. Doing this all and having to do it well.
The worst thing about my school is the dorm room, they are kind of small and there are too many things going on in the dorms for a person to focus in work.
meal plan and plublic safety---tie!!!
The worst thing about my school is that it is a small community, where there is not much room to gain acceptance for being unique. Anyone who is stands out in any way is looked down on rather than appreciated. It tends to make those people feel that they are not in the right place and that they do not belong. There is not much creativity in the students becuase there are so few students. Therefore, anyone who is different may not find too many other people that they feel they can relate to and connect with.
Public Safety is so busy writing parking tickets that they always miss criminal activity. The school will try anything to make you pay more money, rather it be writing unecessary parking tickets, especially since there is not enough parking, or raising tuition.
