I think the college was everything I expected it to be. I did have some negative run ins with professors, but they were easily fixed by simple communication or dropping a class. I never regretted attending the college, and would recommend it to someone that is starting their college journey or are just looking for a two year college.

THEY NEED TO INTERACT MORE WITH THE STUDENTS. THEY NEED TO ACTUALLY TRY TO HELP STUDENTS SUCCEED IN LIFE.

It is a great college. I am all the time recommending other people to attend this college. It has a wonderful living, great food, the book shop is barns a noble and it has Starbuck inside. I LOVE THIS COLLEGE. My classes are easy to find and the professors explain it really well.

I feel that they can expand more as a college. The dorms are very limited and a bit pricey. I enjoyed the class sizes because you were able to get to know your teacher. But far as facilities and shopping areas, there aren't any. You would have to drive to Mobile or Spanish Fort.

James H Faulkner State Community College FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at James H Faulkner State Community College?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for James H Faulkner State Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would have learned better study habits. In high scool I did not have to study. I could go to class, listen to the lectures sometimes and be able to ace the test the next day. In college it is totally different. There is no studying the night before and being able to pass a test. Being a nursing major, it is very competitive to get into most programs. Grades are the first thing that they look at to be accepted. So making good grades in all my classes not just anatomy is my main priority. It takes weeks to study for some test and for someone not being use to studying it was very hard the first semester in college. I had a very rude awakening per say. So good study habits would be something I wish I would have learned prior to attending college.
