Our campus is its own little community. It is located in South Knoxville but we are located in a little area called Kimberlin Heights so it is not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of a big city. Every store, restraunt, and service you would need are close and easy to get to and are within 5 miles.
To be honest I feel like this is where God wanted me to go.
It is a smaller, more conservative campus. It is bright and colonial and maintained very well. The students and teachers were very considerate compared with other schools I visisted.
Johnson does not give scholarships for athletics but does for academics. It makes it cheaper to attend. Its hard though wanting to do athletics because the school does not take athletics very seriously, so do not expect to do well in sports because of bad coaching etc... You will learn a lot about the bible though and is a good place to get a degree to someday go into the ministry.
Johnson Bible College focuses its instruction heavily on career-related teaching. If you want to go into ministry, no place better than JBC exists.
The most unique thing about Johnson is the environment here. I transfered from a public university and it's almost as if when I stepped on campus the birds were singing, the sun was shining, and everyone was smiling. People enjoy being here and you can see it in the way they carry themselves.
