My opinion on Jones County Junior College is that the campus is very beautiful. The staff are very friendly and if you have any questions, they are sure to help in any way they can. The students are very smart and productive. The campus has many food resources all over the campus.
JCJC is a wonderful place to get started in higher education. It is a smaller campus with individual attention available if you need it. The friends you can make here will be friends for life, and I highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a great place to call home.
A great campus that encourages you to be yourself but to always be courteous to others...!!!

I wish I had known how important my high school GPA is in college. It wasn't clear to me until I enrolled and realized that Jones offers great scholarships for hard working students.
Lack of parking.
Night class meets even if day classes are out.
This school is best known for its nursing program. The nursing program is outstanding here and anywhere a student goes to get a job, if that employer knows they are from Jones they are almost guarnteed a job.
My classmates have vary characteristics, from being crazy, to intellectual, to sleeping in class, but over all the classmates are great.
I brag about the fact that our classes have the feel of one-on-one interaction. Every class instructor seems to have a knack for making sure his/her students understand the concepts being discussed. This makes for a better educational experience.
This school really works hard to provide the best opportunities for their students; they also challenge each student do to his or her best.
Students that come from a small high school should come to Jones County Junior College. JCJC is an average sized campus. The stress of college is more than the stress from high school, so a student should not go directly to a university.
