Tell us about the sports scene on campus.

The sporting events K-State provide some of the most fun experiences. K-State football has their coach of the year Bill Snyder who has led their team to back-to-back bowl games and high energy basketball coach Frank Martin who has been able to consistently take the Wildcats to the NCAA tournament in March. The Big 12 also boasts some of the best competition, being ranked as the top 1 or 2 conference in both basketball and football. Outside of the just mens football and basketball, the women's sports are great as well. The volleybal team offers a fun environment and exciting games every year. The women's basketball team also always competes well in the Big 12 every year. There are other sports as well such as tennis, golf, track and crew. The BEST thing about K-State sports is where we sit. Students have prime time seats! We sit at the 50 yard line and mid-court, front row. It makes it easy to rush the court on big wins!

Our NCAA Division ! teams are a big deal here at KSU. Everything from volleyball to football is proudly supported by our fans. We take great pride in our talented sports teams. Kansas State also offers a wide array of intramural teams for EVERYONE to participate in! Intramural sports are a great way to stay active & meet other students on campus. They are so much fun, and many, many students participate in intramural sports. Our Recreational Center offers softball, flag football, soccer, tennis, basketball, and several other sports for students to be involved in.

It seems like sports are really prevalent, but it isn't necessary to love sports. Football and mens basketball are the most popular, but others are also supported! Kansas State has a lot of options for sports and student athletes are usually social with other students. Student athletes have study halls to help keep them on their academic track, too. It is pretty exciting when we can get into a bowl game (woohoo!) make it to the Elite Eight in basketball (rush to Aggieville to celebrate!) and if you aren't into sports, it is still a fun thing to talk about.

Students on our campus take big time pride in all of our sports here at K-State. We love football and basketball. The only sports we get charged to get in to watch are football and basketball but both are worth the money. Our student sections are right on the 50 yardline for football and right at half court for basketball. We're the only school in the big 12 that does that because we value our students here at K-State. When students are paying that much for tuition we might as well get good seats to the game, right? Other sports are equally as exciting but entry is free with a student I.D.
