My overall opinion on Kendall College is it's a great school. The academics and culinary programs are great. They have excellent resources and the financial aid department is very helpful. I started at Kendall College in July of 2018 and since then I have enjoyed all my classes.
I attended Kendall for a year and a half, I enjoyed the campus. Its a very industrial building on a small but beautiful campus. The class sizes are so small because many students realized the majors were not for them. The culinary teachers are extremely tough but very knowledgeable. General education teachers were a toss up. I enjoyed my time there and only left because I wanted to change my major. The tuition is expensive and they were recently bought by another university.
I attended Kendall college for 3 years in the Hospitality Management program. I am now looking to return to the school to complete my degree. The education and skills that I received from Kendall College has helped me evolve in the hotel industry. All classes are hands on and you learn a lot in the 10 week courses. I love Kendall College. The only dislike I have is that the tuition is very expensive.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Kendall College is 83%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
If I was talking to my high school self, I would have more to tell myself than will fit in this little white box. I would tell myself all about how college life is just different than school before college. Similar to how being married is different than being a single man, being a college student gives me a lot of freedom. I am allowed to go wherever I want in my free time, and if I don't choose to study, I will only learn my lesson through consequences. In high school, you are allowed to participate in extra-curricular activities after school. In college, those activities are still available on a larger scale. College students are adults and do not need permission for anything. They also want to be in college, and at that specific college, which makes a big difference from high school, where you are told which school to attend. On the subject of choosing your college, that means you chose what you want to major in, and because of that you will probably naturally do well in college. College also entitles a lot of real world friends, that last for life.
Exspensive, i've had to work for my money and it's hard to pay tuition
I think the learning environement is the best thing about my school.
Kendall College has a small class size. Each class has an instructor that works with you to demonstrate culinary techniques hands on. This hands on technique provides for a better learning experience that in turn makes a better chef. No one can take your education away from you, especially with a Kendall education.
The administration seems to promote the school through the international students. It seems wealthy international students mean more. These individuals tend to refelect the worst qualities of te student body.
It will get you a job.
I feel that Kendall College students are leading themselves to great success, because they focus on their individual major of study, they put a lot of time into their coursework, and they also allow time for themselves to have a social life and relax.
To be honest, I was given all the information I needed to make my final decison to attend Kendall. I am from Chicago and I already knew the location around the school. My admissions advisor was extremely helpful by setting up a meeting with my financial aid advisor. Overall, Kendall College did a great job of providing me with all the information I needed to become a student.
It's best known for the food made by the students, and it's passion to provide the best learning environment to it's students.
The unique thing about Kendall is how career oriented everyone is there, and how they all have their life plans and goals ready.
Those who do not have a passion for culinary arts and cannot imagine a life spent in a hot kitchen surrounded by smoke, sweat and food.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
