Everything is in a walkable distance, so even if you don't have a car you most definitely can walk! Kent makes you feel like you matter, even though it's such a big school.

My school is huge! For starters, we have a humongeous campus. There is no such thing as the "Freshman 15" here at KSU for the simple fact that everyone is so active. We have a large athletic department and a beautiful recreation center where students are go to work out. More importantly, we have a large population. Our school is home to students from around the world making us immensely diverse. Along with these individuals comes the bajillion and two actities we call call our own. Kent State University has so much going on, only one word describes it; HUGE.

I worked very hard to get accepted into Kent State University. During my high school career I obtained my Associates degree while earning 74 college credits, obtained a 3.75 grade point average, and made the Dean's List all four years. I accomplished this while continuing to stay involved in my local high school participating on the cheerleading team, and volunteering in my community.
