I love the classes. Once you get into major specific classes, you will love school. I always talk to my friends about the cool things I discover on a daily basis. Although it can be challenging, it is an enjoyable experience. One that you will love to brag about.

I mostly brag about how my school was so easy to adapt to. I came from a small high school into Kent Trumbull and it was an easy transtion but it still pushed me to work harder. I love how my school is so welcoming and educated.

The class sizes are kept small, and there is a really good teacher-student ratio. Also, the recreation center is wonderful and the people that attend this school are always cheerful and happy. It is the perfect size campus, not too big but not too small either.

The journalism department is stae-of-the-art and most of the professors are there to help you learn. I love the deaprtment and the professors really want to help you get your work out there and make connections early.

The parties. The parties on and off campus are fantastic. There is always a good time to be had.

Kent State is a great school that brings great opportunities to each student. There is no shortage of things to do within walking distance of campus. From bars to fast-food resaurants everything is easy to get to.

I don't really brag about my school, if I were to it'd probably be that I can potentially graduate a semester early.

The thing I love about my school is that I can follow the general course of what I want to do and then be allowed to narrow down what I'd like to do for the most part more specifically in my later years. The Visual Communications Design (VCD) program is wonderful because it allows me to focus on both illustration and graphic design. I love that I can focuse more on illustration later, but that I can also get a comprehensive background on graphic design. Not to mention I get general knowledge on other subjects to be fully rounded.

That everyone is very laid-back, alwayswilling to lend a helping hands. The university is really involved during the sporting season. The teachers are willing to work with you and lots of them are grad students and easily indentify with the undergrads they teach.

I brag mostly about the sense of community I share with my fellow musical theatre students. I also brag about the individual attention from all the staff and faculty. The faculty really care what their students have to say and care about making their students the best not only performers but people they can be.

I would talk about my intramural sport experience playing broomball and soccer. Some of the Kent Basketball games are really fun to attend in the winter. I would also talk about some of our hall activities such as capture the flag and ultamate frisbee games. Overall, I talk about my social life experiences.

Our meal plan is more like a debit card, and the cafes and restaurants and cafeterias are open longer and serve a larger variety. We even have a 24-hour diner and store

When I tell my friends about Kent State University I always brag about our Fashion Program. I brag about it because its my major, and also because were one of the top Fashion Schools in the Nation!

You don't really brag about Kent, except for the cool black squirrels and we have a nice rec center and student events and programs.

It is actually kind of funny my sister and I argue all the time over whose college is better Kent or her college Toledo. Obviously I win for every argument...I feel so blessed to be at Kent the environment is wonderful and the people here are amazing. And within my major we really are like a family- always there for one another during the good times and the bad. I could not see myself anywhere else. Kent is my home.

The philosophy department

I let people know that Kent State is a good college for the tuition they ask. I could get the SAME BSN at a more expensive college, but why? I'll get the same licensure in the long-run and I'll have less debt! Kent is quality at a rate that people can afford, even during a recession!

A lot of my high school classmates attend Kent and my neighbor, so I'm very comfortable. I like being on my own. I believe I'm getting a good education.
