Someone who wants to learn but also experience a good,quality education.

Someone who is looking for a huge, bustling school shouldn't attent Kent State. It's not a particularly large school, and has much more of a relaxed, sort of peaceful atmosphere as to busier colleges and universities.

Someone who is afraid to talk to people. Kent State is the kind of school where you have to be willing to talk to everyone. This doesn't mean you have to go greek or be a party animal, but the way to make friends really is to just talk to everyone till you bulid up a good network of friends.

A really focused student who wants to be a rocket-scientist or something in that nature.

Kent State University seems very liberal and loose. The students seem more relaxed and less "academic". Though I can be both academic and care-free, most people prefer one or the other. I like friends of both types so that I can relax, but also have friends I can discuss course work with. People who want all of their friends to be more academic, pretty intelligent/studious, and "straight-narrow" might not want to attend this school. Not that there aren't any of those to be found at KSU, it's just that they're in the minority.

Kent is a really liberal school in a really small city. Anyone who needs the hustle and bustle of a big city to servive should not come to kent. The campus is really green and really quiet. There is lots to do, but it does not feel like a city at all. This works for a lot of people but not for others. Also if anyone i not comfortable going out of their comfort zone, Kent is not the place for them.

Someone who doesn't want to make friends or branch out or care about their future. Kent is wonderful for your social life and most importantly education. I can't image why anyone wouldn't like it here.

A person that is very shy, may be overwhelmed by all that Kent State has to offer. To meet people and have a good college experience, you have to put yourself out there, and get involoved.

The person who should not attend KSU is a person who wants a smaller entirely personalized atmosphere. A person should not go here if they dont want to get involved.

someone that is very focused on there studies and isn't interested in making new friends or anything,because the school has alot of fun activites to offer and new things to do.

If you are not willing to work hard to earn your grades or you don't want to attend classes, you shouldn't attend this school.

I think everyone should give it a shot I love it there and Ive met all types of people. It doesnt matter if your preppy goth nerdy whatever label you had in high school i think when you go to any college that can change cause no one knows you so therefore you can be who ever you want to be and i believe any type of person would make friends here

This school should only be for people who choose not to have a hard major and pretty much want to party and meet great people. The students are great, friendly and will be your friends for a great time. However, with a hard major you will fail out because there is no drive toward something. All professors stick to the curriculum and dont care about you or your excuses. To suceed here you need to either get into the honors college and bury your face in a book to get by with your major or get out and make friends

All people are accepted here at Kent State University.

Kent is a good school when it comes to learning and having fun and making friends and having a balance between those things. While having fun is a must at Kent, you should not come to Kent if you're just looking for a party school. Parties and events are focused on good causes and you should not attend if you just plan to goof off and party more than anything.

Typically, I would think that a student that enjoys a spacious campus with lots to do and enjoys a liberal view it would be perfect! However, I think all kinds of people can be happy here...it is what you make of it!!! :)

Someone who doesn't want to work hard.

Honestly, I would recommend Kent to almost anyone, but if you are focused on going to a college that is very small, or in walking distance to the city, I would not go to Kent State.

someone that doesnt like to do alot of homework and like to attend every class teachers usually give homehork based on that days discussions so you have to attend every class.

someone wanting a really really big school or wanting to stay everyweekend...lots of people go home on the weekends so not a lot goes on then.

Conservative people offended by homosexuality, drinking, and the use of marijuana would probably feel uncomfortable at this school.

Anyone who cannot self motivate. It's easy with all the big classes to skip and not even be noticed. School has to be important to you or you'll slip through the cracks

Anyone who does not want to go to a large school with large amounts of people, or does not wish to be involved with a diverse group of people.
