The best thing about my school is that there is something for everyone, in terms of student groups, organizations, and even academics, as far as majors and minors go. There might even be more than enough for some people; I'm toying with the idea of adding anothe major. I know it would be incredibly tough, but learning and opening up to new experiences, ideas, and subject areas for me would be worth it. I absolutely love to learn, and I owe it to the diversity of oppertunities at Kent State.

Quality of insturction in the Biology/Chemistry departments.

I think the best thing about my school is the wealth of opportunities Kent state provides. There are so many fantastic professors for students to work with, great athletics, and numerous research opportunitues. I am looking forward to taking advantage of many of the inspiring opportunities Kent State University has to offer to their students. I am proud to be a Golden Flash.

The best thing about Kent State is the fact there is so much to do and be involved in. There are so many fantastic and highly ranked programs-- from fashion design to teacher education, Kent pretty much offers everything!

What i would say is the best thing about Kent State University is the number of oppritunities here. I've had the oppritunity to express myself in any medium I wish to do so in, weither it be dancing or graphic design. I can find people who share my love of whatever I want to accomplish

I love that my school has so many opportunities for its students, whether they be on campus or study abroad opportunities. I am current;y studying abroad in Florence, Italy and it has been a rewarding experience and since I am a fashion major I was able to learn about a different side of the industry and how it works in other countries besides just America.

How nice the people who attend Kent State are

The best thing I believe Kent State University holds, is it's diversity. I don't just mean people. Kent State University holds many events, clubs, programs, everything down to the type of food they serve. The experience you gain here is all about trying something new, and meeting all different kinds of people. The campus really has a great way of making sure everyone can be involved and experience something new and exciting every week.

What i consider to be the best part about my school is the campus itself. The fact that it is all close together makes it nice for walking to classes. No matter where you are, it's no more than a 15 to 20 minute walk to anywhere else on campus. Everything seems to be centrally located, and easy to navigate which is important to me, especially when the weather is less than ideal.

Kent State has grown to reach many different types of students in a variety of life situations. The regional campuses bring classes close to homes across the eastern Ohio area and this college is begining to make many online courses available that allow students to have flexible class schedules to bend around life obstacles.

The best thing about Kent is the environment. Everyone is so open and friendly. It is deffiently one of the most accepting places that I have been at. During the first week of school, everyone talks to everyone. You sit with people you don't know at lunch. Its nothing like high school where no one will talk to you because they don't know you. The staff is also really friendly. Whether it is the housekeeping or the residence hall staff. They really work with you to provide a clean, safe environment for you to live in.

i would say the teachers are the best thing they are very helpful in guiding you and present the Material in ways that help you learn

I consider the best thing about Kent State University to be the various opportunities for students to earn work experience on campus while attending school. It helps to build your resume and it gives students a better understanding of what adult life actually involves. Working while in school can be very challenging, but I feel that if one doesn't work while in school it may be harder for them to adjust to adulthood once out of school.

Being able to meet new people every day and learn something new in class. The hands on learning is a really good way to learn new things because it helps you actually do it yourself so you have more practice

the best thing about my school is that my major is fashion merchandise and my schools fashion program is number three in the whole nation.

The teachers are always positive and excited to teach, campus is clean but not fake feeling and the student center is like home away from home. I live off campus, yet it is easily accessible from all over town, and from the highway. Everyone that goes to Kent State seems to love the school, myself included.

The falcuty is very helpful and imformative.

The bookstore allows students to rent books for those who financially can't afford, or don't want to pay the prices of new or used books.

The school is very accepting and liberal. Reaching multiple audiences and students to fulfill their needs.

The best thing about Kent State University was the small town feel, location of the school, and personalized attention in the classroom. Considering that you were in a small town there were not that many distractions pulling you away from your school work . However, there were severally major city (Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Toronto, etc...) just a couple hours away. Furthermore you were able to approach the teachers with questions and they would recognize you from class. If you want a school with small town feel, good academics, good location, and small class settings, then Kent State is the place.

The best thing about Kent is the opportunity it offers. Kent State gives its students all the tools they need to get where they want to go. It is up to the students to use them. I have enjoyed working with nearly all of my professors and I have really been challenged to use all the resources at my disposal.

The best thing about KSU is our education. Alot of people talk down about my school and consider it to be a decent school, when our programs our actually some of the best in state. Every professor I've had so far is highly educated in what they are teaching and encourage students to do their best work.

Kent State University has a wonderful art program, which is one of the reasons why I transferred to the school. The campus is beautiful, and the people are helpful and friendly. My first day there people would stop and point me in the right direction whenever I lost my way. The faculity advisors are helpful, and go out of their way to try to solve any situations that occur.

How liberal and accepting it is.

I love everything about it. It has many resources for me and my classmates.Their fashion program( for my major) is excellent.I am confident that I can be happy at Kent if I get involved and maintain a good focus at school also.

The best thing about my school is the size because it is not too small but it is not so overwhelmingly large.

I love the real world expirience that my professors have. Both in art history and anthropolgy, I have great influences and leaders for teachers.

I consider all of the clubs, sports, and extra-curricular activities the best part of my school. I have participated in many different clubs such as Spanish Club, DECA, Yearbook< and Student Council. I love the different experiences I've had and all the oppurtunities they have provided me. I also participated in Tennis which I loved and met many new friends during my years of playing. Not only do i enjoy the activities i participated in but also the activities of others such as going to watch other sports and seeing the work of other clubs.

At Kent State, professors are extremely knowledgeable and wholeheartedly willing to share their expertise with their students. They are always available to help students and talk one-on-one. In addition, FlashLine, the Kent State website, is beautifully designed to keep students in contact with their classmates, their teachers and the Kent State community, as well as providing them with up-to-date information about their progress, their class work, and their financial aid.

It's a large campus, but not alarmingly so as the main academic buildings are grouped together by subject and doesn't take more than 15 minutes to cross. I also like all the free area both indoors and outdoors for play or study.

The best thing about my school would have to be the different ethinicities at my school. Its so many different races on campus its unbelievable. It feels like the whole world is all on campus.

Kent State University has great Fashion, Architecture, Business, Pschology, and Sociology Programs for students who are interested in those fields. Also, the campus is beautiful and it offers students a great amount of internet access at any time.

Kent State University has a lot of people. Not just any people, but all kinds of people. Living on campus and seeing so many new and different faces everyday makes you understand that we're all the same. I grew up in a very caucasian-dominant city where everyone was judged by the colour of their skin, the clothes they wore, and the people they associated themselves with. Having a true sense of community, of humanity, was the best thing Kent State could have offered to me (besides my diploma in four years).

The amount of people willing to learn to create an easy going atmosphere. It helps with the experience of meeting new people and doing different things.

The best thing about KSU is all the diverse people. There's so many people of different backgrounds with the same interests as you, you'll soon become friends with people you may have never talked to. Also there's tons of extra curriculuar activities ranging from accredited Fashion shows to the zoology conservation club. There's tons of activities to release the stress load of school, but remember to stay FOCUSED. The effort you put into your schoolwork is reflected in your grades.

I attend the Twinsburg Regional Campus and the best thing about my school that I like is that it is small and easy to get from point A to point B and also that there is not alot of students crammed into one class.

I love the atmosphere. I first went to a community college which felt like a high school. At Kent, its a huge campus with many trees. I think its beutiful.

The best thing about Kent State University is the atmosphere. There is a diverse student body in an already beautiful city. The city of Kent is peaceful and gorgeous. It's filled with kind and caring students, teachers, and town inhabitants. I live Tallmadge, a town very close to Kent, so growing up I spent a lot of time in Kent. Kent State to me feels like home. It feels like I have been here my whole life because of how familiar I am with the campus. Kent State University is a great place to call home.

I think that the best thing about KSU was how involved they allowed you to me. You could talk to the right professor and end up with a great job or internship. It is all about the opportunities you took on your own; the initiative you showed.

Professors are very thoughtful, they really care about their students

There are so many wonderful things about my school. One of my favorite things about my school is the people I am surrounded by everyday, including professors, counselors, and students. My professors go above and beyond to create a meaningful learning experience, the counselors have helped me since day one, and the students are friendly and contribute greatly to my experience.

I love the campus of Kent State University. It is beautiful year round. Whether it's the multi-colored leaves in the fall, the snow in the winter, or the green grass in the spring, the grounds are always kept tidy and beautiful. We are also known as a tree campus. There are so many trees with shade to go relax under and do homework or read. Plus an added bonus is that every night I'm able to watch the spectacular red, orange, and yellow sunset from my room. I love it here.

The high levels of research. There are a lot of incredibly smart people doing some amazing research at Kent, and opportunities are made avaiable to undergraduates to work with these people.

Kent State is beginning to be well-known for their fashion program, which is what I'm studying. It's not too far from home, as well, which makes it convenient. I also love the atmosphere of the school.

I would say the best thing about KSU is that there are such a range of people with varying interests that it's easy for everyone to find somewhere they belong. We have everything from a Kayaking Club to an Anime club, to fraternities and sororities. All groups are really open and accepting, so it's really easy to find the people you'd like to be around.

I would have to the best thing is how accesible a lot of things are. We have buses that takes you around campus, there are a lot of stores that are near by. Our library is huge with many computers. Their are many places to go for studying and group projects. The campus has several different dining areas with delicious food. Kent is very people friendly.

I Love Kent for its artsy and design-oriented atmosphere. It is the perfect size, and most people that attend Kent are very social and willing to make friends. It has many prestigious programs such as Architecture, Interior Design, Nursing, and Aviation. The laid-back atmosphere this school projects makes me feel very at home. I love walking through Kent to see friends sitting on the grass with guitars or just having conversation.
