One of the best things about Kent State University is their willingness to help. The professors at Kent state always go above and beyond to help their students with any problems they have with material covered in class, homework, projects, etc. Aside from the professors, other faculty members on campus are always available for help with any problem or questions you come to them with. Kent State University certainly goes out of their way to make things as easy as possible for their students, and to make sure students get the most out of their education.

I consider the wide arrange of diversity the best thing about the school. There is an opportunity to meet people from all over the world and listen to their experiences and how different their country, beliefs, and culture are from my own. To be able to come away with these experiences broadens my veiw point and understanding of the world. By broadening someone's understanding of other cultures, you develope tolerence for such differences and that tolerance is the key to easing hostile tensions and to help different cultural groups to move past conflict to find peace.

The best thing about Kent State I would say that it is very diverse, and that is why I like about it. Coming from Canton, Ohio, which someone from Los Angeles would consider small, you see the same faces every day. While on the other hand, Kent State University gives you the best of both worlds. It's close to home, and when I come back to school, it's so many new, exceptional people to become friends with. So many different inputs and philosophies about life. We learn from each other as well as the interesting courses taught here.

There is an endless amount of opportunites here. From classes, to clubs, to just fun things you like to do. They offer so much that it is extremely hard to choose what to take or do. Kent caters to its students with what it offers. Kent lets you mold and form who you want so you can live the life you want to live.

Kent State University has the best, well, everything! One of the best things is that there is always something to do. Kent is great about having lots of clubs and activities to keep people involved. While the academics here are fantastic, it's nice to be able to get away from the academic part of Kent and have a wide variety of things to choose from. We have awesome concerts, some free and some at reduced ticket price. Kid Cudi, 30 seconds to Mars, Drake, Cobra Starship, Travie Macoy and 3OH3 have all came here to preform!!

Kent State is a campus that makes you want to get involved with everything that you can possibly get into. There are so many diverse activities to do such as intermurals, causes, professional group meetings, movie night, comedians, sororities and fraternities,; there is something for everyone around here. Everyone is friendly and concerned about your welfare and are very helpful if you need it. Kent is a small town with a big town attitude. We care about what goes on and about all our students, down to elementary age. In choosing Kent, you can't go wrong.

We have diversity.

My school has a fantastic Speech Pathology and Audiology program.

The best thing about my school is the size. It is not too big but it is also not too small. There are so many opportunities to meet people because of the size and activities. There are so many things to do and people to meet. It is a wonderful place to make friends and have fun.

Help avaiable. There is a place for everyone to inquire and receive good help in every topic imaginable.

I enjoyed attending a large school in a small town. KSU is a large campus and therefore is able to offer a number of activities and resources. There was never a lack of activities available to students. Plus, Kent itself is a small town, so I felt safe and protected.

The best thing about Kent State is the campus itself because it is so close together. The campus is its own section of the city and the size and design is very easy andd close together. It's nice to have a campus all connected and not inturrupted by the city buildings and roads.

I am not sure about Kent State University because this will be my first semester attending KSU. I just moved from California to Ohio to finish my BA degree. I was currently attending a community college (COS) in northern California for the last 2 and a half years. I thought the best thing about College of the Siskiyous was the personable class sizes. It allowed me to get to know my instructors and them to know me. I came from a small high school so it was very comforting.

The best thing about Kent State is the people. The students here are very welcome and friendly. It didn't take me long to make friends. A lot of the students are from different states and countries, and it is great getting to know about each others lives. We form long-lasting friendships here, no matter what age or race. The students work very well together when it comes to group projects, and contacting other students for something isn't an issue because of the new technology these days.

The professors really care. I can look through my phone and call any number of professors at anytime.

Our school has many good attributes but it can be known as a party school. But they have plenty of oppurtunities for students that don't want to party. They have movies in our theater every Friday and Saturday night. The movies have all recently come out and the theater is usually packed. The movies are free to us and sometimes if its a nice enough night they will show the movie in the courtyard outside the theater and we can all sit on the steps and enjoy the movie and some fresh air.

I consider the convience of living on campus the best thing about my school. It's not too big or too small and all of the extracurricular activities and classes are fairly close to the location of the dorms. It's just very easy to stay on campus.

I like that most of the academic buildings are near my dorm.

The teachers. The experienced teachers really know what they're doing and they are able to relate the subjects being taught to real-life situations.

The best thing about Kent State University is the friendly atmosphere. All the teachers are willing to go that extra mile. They make sure the students understand what they are learning. The teachers make sure that there students are getting the best education. Kent State has places set up where you can get extra help if you need it. I personally love thier American Sign Language (ASL) lab, located in Satterfield hall. All of the people in that lab help me practice my signing. The ASL lab is amazing, there is always someone that will help you.

Get out and try all interesting clubs. There is alot to do on campus

I think the academics are the best thing at my school because they are vigirous and demanding of the students.

The best thing about the school I am attending is the people that I live with. I feel that it is important for a student to feel comfortable with their living situation. I currently live in a freshman only dorm and it is great! I love the people that live down the hall from me, and leaving your door open is common in our hallway. We are always walking in and out of eachother's rooms just to chat. If a student did not like their living situation, it would be hard for them to enjoy school altogether.

The Nursing program is excellent. Although the professors are not always the best ones out there, the way the whole program is structured and the materials presented, including clinical and lab instruction is absolutely fantastic. The nursing facilities are very modern and up-to-date, and the university seems to have relationships with many hospitals around. The library seems to be a favorite resource of almost every nursing student out there when it comes to studying for any exam, so the library is a second best.

The best thing at this school, happens to be escaping me at this time, because there is very little I can think of. Possibly the trees and landscaping of the campus.. it changes alot from season to season. one can really connect with the seasons when walking on campus.

What i consider the best thing about my school is how everything is close by, even off campus. Everything is close enough to walk, even for 10-15 minutes. i love the variety of things they have on campus for all different ethnicities to enjoy a part of there culture away from home.

The best thing about my school is that it is there to teach myself and my classmates the things we want and will need to know about our future careers and the ways we would go about receiving a degree in our desired fields.

The best thing about my school is the way the school tries to work for the benefit of the students. If you need help in a certain subject, there is alway tutoring availible. If you need help paying for school, the university is willing to help you find a way. Also, if you need something fun to do on any night of the week, there is always something going on around campus

I love the size of my school, because even though there are a lot of annoying or shallow people to sift through, there are still a good number of people I like.

The best thing about Kent State University are the students. You can see it in the way everyone holds the door for other people as you are entering a buiding. You can see it study groups that are formed by students for almost every class. And, you can see it in the way every student makes you feel a sense of belonging!

The best thing about Kent State is the campus environment. I love walking outside to go to class and seeing all the beautiful trees and flowers everywhere. There's nothing like waking up in the morning, stepping outside my dorm and being flumoxed by the absolute beauty of my surroundings. No other campus I visited compared to Kent State.

I love the expereinces that I am gaining while in school. My education will help my in the future. I have been very involved from the start and that has helpd me throughout the years.

The small class, the closeness with professors

I believe that the best thing about my school is the diversity. I went to a high school with predominantly all caucasian people so coming to Kent opened my eyes to all of the different types of people that there are in the world. If you want to meet people out of your normal comfort zone, Kent is the place to be.

The professors are very kind about letting you make up work when you get sick.

I enjoy the students. The students that I have met in my classes are friendly and open to learning.

With being in the education program, I have 5 semesters of field experience in a variety of diverse locations. This opportunity gives me the confidence I need to believe I made the right decision for my future career, and it is a great chance for me to experience what I have been learning in the classroom

Great Academic advisors that help put your goals into a more manageable perspective. On campus jobs look really nice on resumes. Tons of academic programs such as National Society of Leadership that Im affiliated with.

The best thing about my school is the campus size. I come from a small town so I did not want a school that was too big, this campus is just the right size.

I love the suburban atmosphere that Kent State has because it makes Kent State a relaxed atmosphere. I love the fact that there are so many diversity of people that attend this college. There are many students with a wide range of different socio-economic statuses, different races, and all sorts of different interests.

Kent State is a great school because of the large campus atmosphere. The size makes it accessible for students from all around the world and adds to the diversity. The dorms and cafeteria are great also. The size of the dorms are very reasonable and always clean. The cafeterias offer the finest foods for a reasonable price. Also, the teachers are well educated and know their material excellently.

The best thing about KSU is the faculty. When I was a senior in highschool and visited, everyone was very welcoming and 3 years later, still are. I come from a small town where you know everyone and it was like a slice of home, just a few hours away.

The best thing at my school is the comfort level. I have never ever felt uncomfortable and always feel like I am at home. My dorm is amazing I live in the newer dorms with my own private bathroom, and I got paired with an amazing room mate I have had for two years now. There is always another student close by in my program I can help or get help from if needed I made new friends that way. I even made a lot of friends through the athletes I am around 24/7.

I love the classes at Kent State. I have only had a few classes and professors in which I have disliked. Otherwise, the professors are extremely helpful, always available to offer advice and help with difficult classwork. They are passionate about the topics they teach, which leads to an increase in the passion for the class. Also, many technological devices are used to help aid learning, making it easier to learn the materical. Overall, I thouroughly enjoy attending Kent State and I feel I am already well prepared to continue in my major.

The best thing about my school is the facutly. Each professor is interested in the students success and they use thier knowledge, connections and drive to help you succeed.

The diversity, not just racially but the diversity within all of the majors. There's students from all walks of life attending here and doing many different things.

They offer classes at all times. If you need to work during the day, they offer evening classes. Evening classes tend to be smaller. The Diversity of the University is what I enjoy the most.
