The most unique aspect of my school is that there is truely a hands-on experience and one-on-one time with the teachers. The classes enable students to gain valuable information with real guidance of the subject, especially in the core classes. A student gets to engage with the other students who are interested in the similar subjects and teachers who truely want their students to gain this knowledge. Not only is the the community of the school unique the landscape is also beautiful. The campus may be small, but it brings a beautiful atmosphere with magnetic people.
The size, location, and the quality of education along with the professionalism of the faculty and staff is what I consider to be the most unique quality of the Kent State University-Salem Campus. The Salem Campus of Kent State University consists of only one building settled amongst acres of farmland that sets within a mile or two just off of the outskirts of the beautiful Historical District of Salem, Ohio. What the Salem Branch may lack in size if compared with other schools surely counterbalances it with the dynamics of education and expertise of the faculty.
I chose this school because it reminds me a lot of my home school; Its small, the teachers know you by your name instead of by a number. The people at Kent are really friendly and very willing to help you if you are ever behind and introuble.
This campus is very unique because the students that attend here are from all generations. We have students that are still in highschool and students that are 65 years of age. The students on this campus come from all different backgrounds.
This school is very unique because it is only five minutes from my house. Also the low tution was a major bonus.
The small class sizes, comfortably rural setting, student-professor ratio, exceptional Honor's Program.
