I don't think there is a kind of person who shouldn't attend Kent Stark. You have a wide variety of majors and minors and you even have an option of not knowing what you want to do.
I would never want to tell anyone that is contemplating seeking higher education to turn away from it.
A person who likes to be in a big city, around a lot of people, or large lecture classes.
A student who cannot achieve their degree of choice at Kent State Stark, or at a regional Kent State Campus, should not attend this college. If you wish to attend this college, you should be preprared to commute every day to school, as there are no dorms on campus, so commutes are necessary. Be prepared to share a parking lot with Stark State Technical College students as well. If you do not like the sound of these stipulations, do not attend Kent State Stark.
Someone who is afraid of hard work. If you don't want to work, don't waste your time. The classes are enlightening and challenging. So bring it.
A person who should not attend this school would be a person who enjoys being on a large campus with thousands of other students.
Any who is not willing to work hard! Many students believe that since this is a branch of the main campus that the professors are not as qualified and that classes will be easier. I believe that classes are just as challenging as at Kent's main campus and anyone not willing to work hard will not be a good fit for this school!
