Kent State University at Stark Top Questions

The thing i find frustrating about my school is that students often smoke right in front of the buildings even though the sign says not to. They should enforce the rules more.

Although my first week of classes will not start until August 27th, the only confession I can make of my frusterations with college thus far is their disorganization in addmissions. Perhaps I was just a small glitch out of the hundreds applying this semester, I can not say.

The most frustrating thing about my school is that it is not guaranteed that you can get your desired program because it is very competitive. A lot of students would apply in a certain program, and sometimes, no matter how high your grade point average is, you just don't get accepted. You would have to wait for another year again and spend more money for tuition. As a student with low-income parents, you would just have to do your best in everything despite the frustrations and financial problems.

The most frustrating thing about Kent Stark would have to be our website. I find it extremely difficult to maneuver through the site to get from topic to topic.

There are not enough computers or quiet seating areas to study.

The most frustrating thing about my school would be lack of computers in the labs. Often times I go to a computer lab and either a class is filling it up and we cannot enter, or there is already too many students in there and no more free computers to use. I do not always want to be carrying my personal computer around, but when I need a computer and there is not enough it is frustrating. I see this happening to many other students as well and have heard other complaints about this too.

The most frustrating thing about my school is the library. I like a place where I can lose myself in the book shelves completely submerged in my own world to complete my work without distraction. Here at Kent Stark the closest thing I have to that solitude is a corner cubby behind the reference section which is surrounded by an L shape of the same cubbies that are connected in pairs. It would be nice if there were other places on campus that I could go to get away and study.

Kent Stark is so committed to providing an advanced education that even when the roads are slick with ice and you are unable to drive down the road, classes will rarely be cancelled.

The most frustrating thing about my school is parking. Our campus shares parking spaces with the neibooring Stark State tech. and they have accpetied more students then they can put in parking spots, Also, they are redoing park of a building that has taken out 100 spots. Evey morning it has be come a fight for a parking spot, accauly its become a joke around campus about parking in the lake space. But really other than that kent stark is a wonderful school.

Honestly the most frustrating thing about Kent State is the parking lot and its not bad compared to other schools.

There really isnt anything that frustrating about my school. It is so close to my house, i can get there within fifteen minutes. There is always good parking choices right by the buildings my classes are located in. The buildings are very close together so I don't have to walk far and hurry to get to my next class. The classes all have a good number of students compared to the one teacher so we can each get help and ask questions.
