I love Kentucky State. The class sizes are perfect for my learning style and the housing is quite nice.
I feel that Kentucky State University is an excellent place for students to learn new occupations, adapt to new surroundings, and meet new people and great friends. Finishing my first-year at KSU has really opened my character up more than it used to be. I used to be a shy, timid person, but now I feel like Kentucky State has brought that out of me a little bit more. Being in school there's always something going on, whether politically, or for entertainment for the students. I have partaken in many of those activities, making them become beneficial for being a student at KSU. I have joined a fraternity at the school, Kappa Kappa Psi, and have continued with others to make Kentucky State a fun school to be at. My first day of classes weren't the funniest but going towards the end of my first year I now realize that Kentucky State is the place to be.
Kentucky State is a HBCU. While I was there we had a family atmosphere, no matter where you're from. There was a lot of diversity on campus and you could always learn something new from someone. The dorms and buildings are a little dated and the school spirit isn't always there but it was a great experience overall. Be advised, the school honestly does not have many options for degrees (bachelors or masters). When I was there, a lot of the faculty would do all they could to help you whether it was school work or your personal life.
Kentucky State University is a great school and has many opportunities available for students to grow. I would recommend this school to anyone. The fact that there are small class sizes and accessible teachers is a great thing. The tuition is also very reasonable. They also offer discounts for students from different cities. Another thing is the campus is pretty safe. Also once you have stepped on the Campus it is guaranteed that you will meet people who will become like family.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Kentucky State University is 48%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
If I can go back in time when I was an high school senior. I will tell myself to look into more than 3 college and universities and make sure that is what I really would like to do. Study hard and everyday so I can get an scholarship because, attending college is very expensive. Do my best and pay attention and just pray.
My school is a diverse community that cares about their students, and staff.
computer labs are not open all night.
The classmates at this university are nice, some are respectable, helpful and mindful of their goals in life.
The best thing about my school is that they focus on making sure that every student who attends the university receives an amazing educational experience. The university provides studends with tutoring programs and teachers who do care about you anc your accomplishments and goals.
Someone who is dedicated to their education but, at the same time likes to have fun.
The thing that I find most unique about Kentucky State University is the fact that all of the students here are like a huge family. Everybody pretty much knows and cares for everybody. The student body being a family here at KYSU is what makes school events and even going to class even more fun.
i brag about the school itself. I tell them ts in a small country place so you have to make yourself have fun and you meet new people and friends
What I wish I would have known before coming to this school, is the fact that the office of financial aid are not as healpful as they could be in assisting students with their money issues. Another thing I wish I would have known is more about the biology department and the fact that not all classes are offered every semester.
Someone that doesn't like school work.
School Spirit, Fraternities and Sororities. In the work feild, the school is known for over preparing students for their jobs. Also, better known for our research facilities and early childhood education program.
That my program is small here and most of the student here still act like this is high school doing childish things. The staff here alot of them do not know how to do their job i hate the fact that Finaical Aid people is always messing something up and it hard to get in contract with someone to talk to about it.
The stereotype of the students is a a big variety. The Youngstown State University community has anywhere from jocks to the occasional gamers. However, this difference does not separates us, but makes us stronger since everyone learns to respect each other because of what is their interests and work together to make Youngstown State University a friendly campus.
