What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?

I really don't think there are stereotypes of students at Keystone. I mean I'm sure there are a few out there, but none that I am familiar with. Keystone is very diverse and has students of all differences.

I think a lot of people think that Keystone students are from country areas with cows and horses and farms. For the most part this isn't true. There are some students who live on farms and have milked a cow, but most of the students are from cities. Some of them are from nearby Scranton and others are from New York City, Dover, Philadelphia, and other cities in Maryland, Deleware, and New York. We definitely have a diverse group of students from both the urban and the rural areas.

Keystone College is a diverse campus with people of all types. There is no typical sterotype at Keystone. We have students ranging from the Art type to the Athlete. Evryone knows everyone and is very accepting of our diverse group of students.

As a college student everyone was assumes that we drink, and that to me is an unfair sterotype. I know students who have a lot of fun without drinking. This sterotype is probably common at most colleges, but I believe it is one that needs to be put to a stop.

The stereotype of students at keystone college is that we do have the different groups here on campus but it's not like in high school where all the groups hang out with there own type. Here we have the different groups but if your not in a group with that certain person they still talk to you and even hang out. Unlike high school where if your not involved with that certain group they can't talk to you or don't want to talk to you because there too cool.

There are various stereotypes but I would not say any of them are bad. Our campus tends to be more stereotyped into majors. We have the art students and science majors, as well as the sports teams. I do not see our campus like the nerds or typical jocks.

Michael

Here at Keystone College, I find no stereotypes throughout the campus. Being a small college, you know everybody and will never walk around or to class without saying a "hello" or "how are you doing." It is truly my second family.

Jason

One of the stereotypes is that the baseball team rules the school, but in reality they dont.

Like every school around here are stereotypes. Of course there is a jock crowd and the geeks but at Keystone they are not confined to their social group. I see people all the time walking around that if I was in high school I would never even see them look at ach other. There is such a variety of students and everybody gets along with everybody.
