What are the most popular student activities/groups?

Tara

Probably the most popular activities on campus are playing on a sports team and DJ Bingo. They are two very different but both very popular activities. Sports teams are popular because they help you make friends while you get to do something you love. Dj Bingo is fun because you get to play bingo, eat free food, and win cash prizes while listening to a dj play awesome music. You should check out both campus activities if you get the chance.

The most popular group on campus would be the sport group (related). Students who dorms do leave their doors open. Basketball is a really big athletic events (to my knowledge). If I was awake at 2 am on a Tuesday I would be playing video games. I met one of my closest friend during an event that took place on campus. We don't have any fraternities/sororities. Last weekend I was in my room playing video games. One of my favorite thing that I like to do on a Saturday night that doesn't involve drinking is playing video games.

Keystone has a large amount of clubs, a huge majority of the students are involved with at least one club, every freshmen is recquired to join one, and most continue their involvment. Student Activities run free events every week, from speakers and comedians, to Laser tag to trips.

Most groups that get the students invloved are the most popular ones. As I stated earlier, I am a part of Res Life and our job is to conitually have student invovlment. We try to plan different programs throughout different dorm halls so students don't go home every weekend. I believe the most popular group is Student Activities. They plan all the big programs on campus. Some programs include dg bingo, friday night movie flick, trips to New York, etc. Keystone continues to show students that they can have fun without alcohol being involved.

On campus we are really big on sports. We have about 17 different teams and there are always activities going on. Being a science major I am a part of the Ecology club and we do numerous activities every semester. We are a dry campus so there are no wild parties around here. A tradition I love every year is our homecoming dance. The closest friends I have made here are the people who are in my classes/major. They are the ones I spend the most time with and could not make it through college without them.

Keystone offers over 30+ clubs and all freshmen are required to join at least one club, via our Club Fair early the first semester. Popular clubs are Student Activities, Student Senate, OPEN, Key Choices and the Ski/Snowboard club. Joining clubs are a gateway of opportunities. They get you involved, create friendships and get you out! I am currently involved in Key Choices. This club encourages and spreads the word of smart decisions (it's a great club!) Living at Keystone is great! Being a small campus, you know a lot of people and will spend time in eachother's dorms. Many students leave their dorm room open, have people over for football games, movies and other events. It's a great time!

A lot of the people at Keystone are involved in varsity sports. However we also have intramural clubs like wrestling and flag football. So many people have met their closest friends doing sports or working with clubs. I met some of my extremely close friends becase of the sports I do and I know other people have met their god friends through chorus or our service club.

There are so many activities on campus! Every time you turn around a new activity is going on in the den or there is a new club to join. I am involved in a club on campus called Rotaract. We are a community service based group which is really cool. We have awesome guest speakers all the time including a Holocaust survivor. There is always something cool going on around campus.
