no student would feel out of place at KU. we have many different groups on campus ranging from an active African American group to just the multi-cultural center for all ethnicities to the Christopher House for those who are religious to the GLBTQ [gay, lesbian, bisexual, transexual, questioning] center. If you feel that way, you can find someone else who does, too. All different types of students interact. It's a great friendly place to be.

Classmates are usually nice and easy going, considerate as well because students realize that we are all going through some crazy things.

Being in the science program, most of my classmates are motivated, competitive and focused on a goal. As far as the other majors go, most of them seem apathetic, it's not hard to succeed in other majors such as business or psychology so long as you give a crap. KU is known for its teaching and art programs, both of which produce graduates who easily find jobs.

Some are annoying and talk during class, others are good students.

Average acchievers that like to have a good time, hang out a lot, and just want their degrees.
