10 Students rated La Roche College
La Roche College is a close-knit community of students. It is a great school for those wishing to socialize and engage with the entire school community. One of the best parts of La Roche is the small class size with easy one-on-one time professors. The professors are generally very helpful.
La Roche college is a great college. As an international student, I was afraid to move to Pittsburgh in a small city with very little to do however this college is my life now. My friends, lectures, library is my life and I'm enjoying my college phase of life.
I love La Roche! I think it's a great environment. The class sizes are smaller so the teacher always knows your name and it's easy to ask questions. Also, the private bathrooms in the dorm rooms are great to have and the dorm sizes are the biggest of the five colleges I visited. There are many great resources on campus and there's a free study abroad program after your sophomore year. They also support those who need help with tuition costs and give out great scholarships for academics.
My experience at La Roche has been pleasant. The staff has done so much to help me with my transition to college. They have answered any questions I had about the school, application process and any other questions I had. I have enjoyed interacting with the staff and I can't wait until the fall.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for La Roche College is 92%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Have fun, but do your work. Find things that make you happy and makes you fit in with the right type of people at college. stay out of trouble. Make fun of the college that you chose to go to.
Most people on La Roche's Campus commute to school. I too was a commuter, so I am not personally familiar with too many on-campus activities. I made many friends at La Roche, but won't necessiarly stay in touch with them. You really only get to know people who are in the same major as you- espically if you do not live on campus. La Roche is small and intimate, and there is NO drinking on campus.
I person that likes one- one time with teachers and and students. Like having International diverity in school. Love having friends and being a small family. Knowing everyone at your school.
La Roche has a very diverse student community.
Poor facilities for the Graphic Designers, and we're the major that keeps the college going
The tuition is so high, and there is not many things to keep you occupied at school. If your out of state the school does not provide shuttle transportation to the store. Or if you have to go to a class that is off campus you have to find your own transportation.
Career fococused, educationally driven, hard-working, artistic., aestetically endowed, very diverse, but open-minded, spirited and spiritual.
I found my school to be very dedicated to getting me the best education I could possibly have. My last school did not really help me to succeed and did not care about their students.
Basketball team and Baseball team. Divine Providence Nuns. Kerns Spiritual Center. Location, Location, Location. Chinese food cafe. Quiet study spaces.
A person who is outgoing and looking for on campus fun shouldn't go here.
When I brag about my school I always let my friends know that La Roche has an amazing dance department.
Sports whether you play or attend games, many students participate in so many ways. Many students take part in Resident Assistant activities from game nights, to mocktails, to karaoke.
I like how it is very ethnically and culturally diverse here. You walk around campus and hear five different languages!
