The most frustrating thing about my school is the walking from the south side of the campus. There is only one academic building on that side and two residence halls. People are alwasy complaining about the distance they have to walk to main campus especially in the cold and snow.
It is a private school, and very expensive.
The most frustrating thing about school is the anesthesia clinicals has to be full time so you can not work if you have a family, it is very difficult to work because you need to go full time.
The most frustrating thing about this school is that is is over priced. The classes and professors are wonderful but the rest of the school is not. The security does not really do their job, the area is not very safe and the conditions of the buildings are unacceptable. This leads me to ask, where does our money really go? I also find that there is a lack of diversity and most of the people here are either from South Jersey or Philadelphia.
Although it has great dorms with kitchenettes on each hallway, La Salle University forces its students to pruchase a rather pricey mealplan expecting students to eat 14 meals per week. While the cafeterias serve decent food, I would prefer to do my own cooking a little more often.
The lack of ethnic diversity is definitly a frustrating thing about La Salle. I'm Hispanic and I grew up in a minority-dominated environment so it was a cultural shock to come to the predominately white population of La Salle. The socio-economic status is middle to upper class, which differs from my lifestyle. All in all, La Salle lacks diversity, and I think it hurts their image. Another frustrating element is the constant alcohol abuse. The majority of the students party with alcohol, which has comprimised the university's image within the community.
I have to keep taking out loans to pay for school and I can't afford it, it seems like the tuition keeps increasing and there's nothing I can do about it. I can't afford to take out anymore loans.
The most frustrating thing about my school is the lack of parking spots. When you can't get a spot in a parking lot, there is not alot of on-street parking that won't result in a parking ticket.
There isn't many house parties and lack of school spirit
The ghetto ass neighborhood. You will get shot at.
one of the dining halls is closed on the weekends, so if you live close to that one, you have to walk about 20 minutes to the other one.
