Describe the dorms.

Shehtaz

There are about 22 residential halls on campus. Some half air-conditioning, some don't. Some have carpeting. Some don't. Some have kitchens on every floor, some have kitchens in the basement that an entire building of 30 residents have to share. Some have great lounges, and some...not so much. There are exclusively first-year dorms (Kamine, Conway) and exclusively upper-classmen dorms (Ramer, Farber). There are special interest floors and Living Learning Communities. There are mixed floors and gender-specific floors, and floors that alternate by wing or level or room. With so many options, you'll probably find the kind of dorm life that you're looking for.

Most dorms are relatively new and nice at Lafayette. The new ones will have AC and are visibly newer. The older dorms don't have AC, but they are kept just as nice as the new ones. You can room with anywhere from 0 to 6 other people depending on your class year and your preference.
