I love my little campus. It has top notch instructors who care. It's small enough to get to keep costs low while still providing an excellent first step in your education. The facilities are great. I can't say enough good things about it.
I really like Lake Land College. I believe it is a wonderful school for students to start out at right after high school. It is cheaper than a university. I enjoy the professors a lot. They truly care about you and want to make sure you understand and know the material they are teaching.
Lake Land is a very small and community oriented college. If you are looking for a small college that is not a huge step away from high school this would be the place for you.
Lake land is a great junior college! It's not only affordable but everyone is very friendly! Our professors care enough to go out their way to help us outside of class and they offer free tutoring which is amazing! The campus is small but in good condition and the administration offices are extremely helpful in registration process and just answering our questions!!
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Lake Land College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would tell myself to have an idea of what you want to do later on in life. As long as you have some idea then it makes choosing major's easier even if you were to change you mind. I would also tell myself to take as many dual credit courses as you can that way you would get college credit for some of your freshman year classes and hop straight into the classes that will be teaching you about what you will be doing in the work force. I would also tell myself not to worry as much about the transition from high school to college because there will be somebody there to help you out along the way. College is more fun than high school and you will hopefully be doing something that you like so show up for class and do your work and it will all fly by with a breeze. It is not as hard as it seems.
I believe that the worst thing about Lake Land College would have to be the fact that there is not an adequate range of classes offered, that fit my particular major. I would like to transfer to a Global Studies major, and lake Land does not have many course equivalents for my major.
Lake Land College is the best way for a person to enter back into the college atmosphere, learn alot, and accomplish things that you never thought you could do-A fresh start for your life.
They are a great college for networking, especially for their size. It is not difficult, with your advisor, to get in touch with your transfer school.
The best thing about Lake Land College is that its a very comfortable, safe, and fun environment that will allow you to grow and obtain you goals.
The people whom I recommend to attend Lake Land College are those who are ready to take the step into a four-year university, have not decided what they want to major in, or those who want to save a little money for when they transfer.
A person that goofs off and wastes all their money and the people thaT never show up to class shouldnt attend this school because it could be failure ahead,
The students in all my classes are very helpful, nice, respectful, and have become good friends.
My school is very close to where I grew up. The college also has a small student body, allowing for stronger student-instructor interaction. As well, staff and administration are very mindful and helpful the all the students they encounter. This has proven quite crucial in my continued education here. The college is also very affordable, though I received a scholarship that covered most of my tuition.
I wish i would have known about the teachers and their backgrounds. That way i would have been better prepared to take their classes and know their teaching styles.
LLC is best known for the flexability of the schedules. No matter what a student's schedule is like there is always a way to take classes.
The most frustrating thing about my school is that all the classes I need for my major are not offered at the extention building that is closer to my home than the main campus. I work and attend classes so it is hard for me to drive to the actually campus in the evenings.
