The campus is okay, not too ugly but also not pretty. The teachers are nice but offer limited office hours. They do not offer a lot of classes in person though and offer most online. The online teachers do not offer a lot of feedback on assignments, and it can be hard to get ahold of them sometimes.
Lake Sumter is a wonderful community college to attend. The student body is very active in hosting different events and the academic team is very helpful in all aspects. There are career advisors around to help you with your personal career and academic advisors to help in your academic journey.
I enjoy my school. The class sizes are perfect because you can talk to your teacher whenever. I like the school size because you don't have to run to class because you're afraid you'll miss class. It is also nice because you see the same people around school so it is easy to make friends. I know a lot of people think badly of community colleges but I think it is perfect for me, a college student that wants to save money and still get a good education.
Lake-Sumter is an amazing school with great teachers! You save a lot of money by attending a Community College and the classes aren't too pricey even for people on a tight budget. I made so many close friends and have tons of interesting stories to tell about this school.

I would have either stayed that the first University that I went to and not move away. Or would have first went to a community college first and then tranfer because going from a university to a communiy college is bad on the financial aid. I would talk with my advisor more when chosing classes and not take so many hard classes at once. I would have listen to my parents a lot more than doing what I want to do. I would have kept my job. I would try to more friends with students and teachers so they can help me with my classes and to hve better socal life. By doing that, I would have study groups in every class.
Lake-Sumter is an excellent school to attend. They make you feel like home here, and care about you and your success as a student during your time here.
People that enjoy having one on one time with their teacher should definitly attend this school. Since Lake-sumter is such a small school, it has less students, which in turn means the professor will be able to know your name and keep a closer look on your progress.
My classmates are cooperative and even helping at times if needed. I haven't experienced or witnessed any negative behavior such as bullying or attemps to either intimidate or persuade the professors.
The samll size of the classes and the hands on assitantance from the faculity.
Known for the highest graduation percentage of students with AA or AS degrees. and They also have the highest graduation percentage for students with AA or AS degrees going on to get a BS or BA degree.
The accessibility in resources necessary for classes, supportive guidance, future references, humble staff both in and out of class, and most of all a very safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
I was extremely well prepared and there is nothing that I wish I has known prior to coming to the campus.
The only thing that I could say frustrates me is the selection of classes offered in the evenings. I would like to see more variety.
The kind of person that shouldn't attend this school, are the people who dont want to make something out of their lives. It is not about who or what kind of individual you are, but the ability to create your own space wanting to achieve something for yourself.
The worst thing I consider about my school is the fact, that since I went to high school not five minutes away, I still feel like I am in High School and the only thing that has changed is the fact that I am having to pay for my education now.
I say that the classes can be difficult but the professors are very helpful and quick to befriend.
