It would be the ammount of assistance they provide. They luer you in with pretty words and promises, but once a student they take for ever to get back to you. They don't send out finacial aid packets until 2 weeks before your bill is due and they are not all that flexible on helping you.
People are not very friendly or welcoming. It can be difficult to make friends but you find a close group of friends eventually. Some teachers are good and well experienced while others are not. The academic advising is not very helpful.
The worst thing about my school is most likely the food. There isn't much variety and I basically live off pasta everyday. In a small city like Newton and with no car, you're basically forced to eat at the dining hall. This means the same basic food everyday.
The worst thing about my school would probably be the way of choosing classes for next semester. First of all if you are a freshman, the upperclassmen take the best classes and there are limited seats of 24 for each class. For a person to register for classes, they have to meet up with their advisors first and then wait for the specific assigned date for registering. For example, freshman students are the last ones to register for classes compared to seniors who choose classes the first day of registering for classes.
the worst thing about my school is the amount of drinking on campus. people who drink underage dont get stiff enough consiqueces.
The social life
The worst thing is how a lot of people are extremely judgmental and and snobby. Many people aren't open minded and they can be extremely rude.
the lack of intermural sports, and the fact that sometimes people will go home for a weekend which leaves the campus dead.
The food service could use some real work! The library could be more updated in its offerings as well as IT support.
