The location is wonderful. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is only 8 miles from Boston. It is very easy to get to the T from the school.
The best thing about Lasell College is the advice and help that is given to its students in the various departments. For instance, in the Office of Student Financial Planning it is really great to be able to sit down one on one with a worker and have them help you in detail so you can get everything in on time and smoothly. Student academic advisors are also extremely helpful in planning schedules and picking what classes are best for each semester so a student isn't overloaded. This relieves a lot of stress in students campus wide.
The proximity to Boston and the amount of public transportation allows easy access for students to get where they want. It is in a very wealthy and safe neighborhood.
The best thing about my school is the small class sizes. With the small class sizes the teacher is able to recognize every student in the class and is able to answer everyone's questions. Also with the small classes sizes I have not found myself going to the professor's office hours for help since I receive it during class.
The best thing about my school is definitley the size. We are a very small school so you know most people on campus, everyone is also very nice. The class sizes are great also, they are small so the professors know you personally not that you are just one of their other students. You can get help one on one with the professors and they are very accessible for help.
The fun I have with my friends. Outside of that, there reallly isnt a whole lot of social activities that go on so we try and make the best of what we have.
How small it is because teachers can engage with students easily
the small size and the sense of community
The small class size is a big plus. The campus is small and located in a residential neighborhood but just the green line away from Boston and endless opportunites for entertainment. The opportunities to get fantastic internships in the career field you are studying are numerous. You never feel like just a number in class, the professors get to know you and what you need to succeed.
