What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

The advice that I would give myself as a highschool senior knowing about the college life and the transition, I would make my decision on a career right away and not change it three times. I wish I was done with college by now and living out on my own with my fiance. I wish I would have gone right into culinary arts to begin with. But now that I am I am thrilled and cannot wait to start. I will have so many new things to make, and I cannot wait to eat them all.

Pursuing a college education is a very necessary step in your personal development. Choosing a career path is also dependent upon a secondary education. Take the time to research your goals in life and choose courses which would allow you to advance to meet those goals as soon as possible. If you are unsure of a direction, research and find people to talk to to help guide you in areas you may excel in. Remember that a college education is vital and delaying this process may complicate your career goals as time passes. Talent is a great thing but talent coupled with higher learning is fundamental to a greater success.
