Some of the sterotypes about students are that they are all rich white kids. It is also common place to say that they drink everynight and do amazing in classes the next day.

During orientation, freshman students were asked to list stereotypes of Lehigh students. Some kids answered that the girls all wear big designer sunglasses and Ugg boots. They wear NorthFace jackets and basically come from wealthy families. They value wearing brand name clothes. Also, Lehigh is known as a party school. Local residents seem to think we're all stuck up rich kids, and to be honest, some of us are. You can't go a week without reading something in the paper bashing the girls who wear Uggz, leggings, and bug-eye sunglasses. It's kind of annoying to be honest because Lehigh kids, although very competitive, are a pretty cool group of people to be around.

Lehigh students are known to lack diversity, being mostly white from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. They're seen as a bunch of rich white kids.
