Lesley University Top Questions

What's unique about your campus?

I feel the best thing about Lesley University it the small class size. With classes only ranging from 20-25 students per class being able to interact with class mates and professors is no issue. The small classes give you the chance to really maximize your eduation and your relationships with your professors to achieve the best possible grades.

The best thing about my school is definitely that no one judges each other. It is so diverse, having people from everywhere, not only America, but other places around the world as well, like the Bahamas. Everyone is allowed to act the way they want, imbracing their own culture, and still get along with everyone else and not even get look upon weird.

I think the best thing about my school is the size. In my first semester my biggest class had 30 students and most class are that size or less. I also love the internship program which gives you great field experience that you start your sophmore year. There is a great sense of community among the students and professors and they are always avaliable. All of this is possible because of the size of the school and the intimate setting they have created.

The resources and educators are the absolute best here.

I think think the instructions one receives are the best thing, supported by excelent study and research facilities.

I am able to work full time as well as attend school full time. It is difficult but is doable. The faculty is very knowledgeable and supportive.

Lesley is a small liberal arts school that works hard at being liberal, open-minded and up-to-date on environmental and social issues. While their major emphasis is in educational careers, I am enrolled in their low-residency, self-designed program that fits my lifestyle of being an adult student. The Adult Learning Division program is very good and not offered in such a format at many other schools. Part of Lesley is now the Art Institue of Boston and while I am not that familiar with that facility, it has a reputation as a fine art school.

The best thing about my school is its small comunity and student to teacher ratio. The small size allows one to gain a personal relashionship with their teacher and fellow students. The size also allows one to learn in a less distracting and personal enviorment. I feel that the size of the community has made it much easier to learn and grow as a person.

Lesley is a wonderful education facility because the faculty and staff are of the most supportive in a University setting. Lesley also offers a lot of oppritunities to work in your field of interest before your graduation. Finally, campus life is mostly quiet and full of like-minded people.

The ability to be yourself and start anything you want to. There was so much individual freedom, students are supported by the faculty and administrators, there really wasn't anything that you couldn't start up if you wanted to: organizations, groups, volunteer activities, trips, changes or anything else.
