I think it’s a great quick college to get your degree. I am excited to transfer to southern Illinois university edwardsville. I think a four year university is just going to be a better fit for me rather than a community college. The professor Sarah Reiken is amazing! She tought physiology, and she was a great character. Very helpful and understanding
I have been attending Lewis and Clark Community College since Fall of 2014. I have loved every second I got to spend on that campus. I am always learning while I’m here, whether it be from my professors in class, from tutors to help me when I’m struggling, to other students trying to help me understand what's going on. Every teacher has office hours and all of the ones that I have had were really easy to work with and a lot of them are reasonable and will work with you. The tuition here is fairly cheap compared to other places but from what i have experienced, you are getting a lot more than what you pay for. Most of the time, there are random things being handed out and events being hosted by clubs. I know a few times i would be walking to class in the morning and see free donuts and milk in the cafeteria. I’ve also seen people handing out free hamburgers, hot dogs and soda. When it comes to housing here, there is not a lot of options. There is one dorm area on campus and those are usually reserved for the athletes. This doesn’t stop a lot of people though. I know people who drive 2 hours just to come to class and learn here. The campus security is very calm yet firm. I feel very safe with them guarding the campus. There is also a few sports teams on campus such as soccer, tennis, and basketball. As a major in Science in Nursing, I have had a great experience here and would definitely recommend Lewis and Clark Community College for anyone who is trying to get their grasp on what they wanna pursue in life or for anyone trying to get back into school. You won’t regret it!
Lewis and Clark Community College is a good way to ease into college life, and a great way to save money! I've never had a bad experience with my peers or teachers, and I've never met a student who doesn't put in a lot of effort to their studies. Everyone here is so engaging and works hard at helping you succeed.
I went to Lewis & Clark Community College for two years, and I enjoyed it for the most part. While I lived at home, I still had a good college experience. The teachers get very personal, and are usually available to help you. I made friends every single semester and that really helped in the long run. Overall, Lewis & Clark is a great two year school!
Lewis and Clark Community College is a great place to become prepared for a four year school. There are so many resources there to help you succeed in your student career, and every faculty and staff member always seems eager to help you with anything.
LCCC was so much more than a community college. It was diverse, challenging, exciting, friendly, and most of all beneficial for my career path. All of the professors are easy to talk too. The classes are educational but very fun. There are a ton of clubs and organizations to get involved in. Overall, it was better than I expected.
As a first time student of Lewis and Clark Community College or LC for short I think this is a great college. I'm very glad I decided to go here first before diving in head first for a university or something bigger. It has a wonderful selection of courses, amazing teachers, a great amount of clubs and after school activities , and so many more amazing things on campus. The college does so many amazing activities to make students feel welcomed and safe. A lot of career opportunities as well. It helped me discover myself better than high school.
I love this college and believe that the programs can compete with others around the country. Many programs are hands on and have professors who will help you whenever you need it.
My overall opinion of Lewis and Clark Community College is that it is superb. You can go here for a much cheaper option for two years and get your general studies out of the way. This has already saved me a lot of money. Every professor here is willing to help you, but you must make effort to go to them.
Lewis and clark has been a great transition for me. I had no clue what I wanted to do academically or with sports. a community college was a great option because if I didnt like it then it was only two years. Luckily I like it a lot! I just wish I didnt see as many people that i knew from highschool but i knew that coming in lol
I like Lewis and Clark and is a great starter school. The class sizes are small and you learn really well in them. Your professors know your names and will remember you even if you haven't had them in awhile. They always have on campus events where they five out free food and that is the best part of the school.
