Liberty University Top Questions

I am an online student. This is probably why I wasn't able to provide much useful information for the survey. I think your survey should ask if we are online or resident students. What is unique about this school is that it provides a very good and organized format to study online. I found the school to be very organized and efficient. For online studies this would be my first recommendation.

That they hold to the bibilical values hat built this country.

Liberty is a school that teaches so many things other than just academia. It offered a big student population where everyone was there for essentially the same purpose: to learn how to bring God into their chosen career path. There was such a sense of community and connectivity between every student that I doubt many other colleges can boast. The atmosphere and sense of comaraderie was what drew me to Liberty.

The Christian community at Liberty can not be found at any other college or university. Liberty holds its students to a higher standard just as Christians are held to a higher standard. The community and fellowship are not the only unique aspect of Liberty. The academics at Liberty are impecceable because not only do you learn the standard information you learn the Christian point of view as well. Going to Liberty University has been an amazing experience because everyone is looking out for one another and the leaders in your life have a genuine love for you.

It's location. Not many schools are located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountain range. Not only does this provide beautiful views, but an abudance of activities for those who are interested in an outdoor lifstyle. Camping, backpacking, hiking, kayaking, rock climbing; all these can be had in abundance at Liberty University.

One thing that makes Liberty University unique is all of the student services that are offered and how willing the staff of those offices are to help. There are numerous tutoring services, great advisors, people who specialize in scholarship searches, and a career center. The people in the career center dedicate their time to ensuring that a students has career opportunites lined up for after graduation. They assist in creating a resume and there are major specific counselors to make sure that the student is helped adequatley. Liberty offers many more serves in addition to the ones I've listed.

Liberty University has an atmosphere that makes you feel important and wanted. Every professor takes time to ask how we are doing and prays before every class. Everything done at Liberty is for the honor and glory of Jesus. After visiting Liberty I knew this was where I wanted to further my education. I did not get this feeling at the other universities I considered.

This has a Strong Christian atmoshpere to it, but not extremely weird. There are some really nice people and everyone seems to want to better themselves and there is a lot of interaction and plenty of social events to engage in. Being in the hills, there are many activities to enage in, trail racing, canoing, camping, motocross, achery, hunting, biking, hiking, skiing, and snowboarding. Plus there is often game night, like monoploy and bingo, and we have a movie theatre on campus and a video game room.

The uniqe factor that isolates Liberty University simply springs from the foundational principles and values that this united educational system was founded upon. Such principles are based on Biblical truth but embrace all Christian and non-Christian individuals with similar values to impart spiritual and educational growth in order to raise and release champions into the workplace. It is by the faculty and staff whom are the dedicated and trustworthy conduits of this mission that allow for a multidimensional, multi-faceted educational experience that is incomparable.

It's a large and growing university with new buildings and new majors and minors appearing every year. Liberty has a lot of contacts and so if you look for it you will find a lot of opportunities for what you want. Basically, this is a place of opportunities where you can truly find who you are.

The people here care about your success. The teachers do not have tenure, they interview for there job every year. You have to have been working in the field that you are teaching in, in order to have a teaching position. You also need to have the highest degree in that field or are working on ataining the highest degree for that field.

This school is so unique because it's not the typical school, where you will walk around and here conversations that are disturbing or hear bad language all the time. It's nice to get away from all that sometimes and I have never found that here, which is crazy. It is also unique because everyone holds the door for eachother. It's a small thing but it's the little things that mean the most.

This is a school that has so many resources -- for instance the library with hundreds of thousands of world-class books and articles. The faculty is top-notch.

Liberty is more affordable for me and the classes work with my shcedule.

The one thing Liberty University had that most schools did not was the opportunity to take all classes online. I am a disabled person and a traditional classroom setting is not in my best interest. I will have to attend an eight week class at Liberty in order to acheive my degree, but that will not be until I am ready to graduate. I believe more schools should allow for online classes for people who are unable to attend the tradtional settings, single mother's who have to work two jobs, or just people who have to work.

Liberty University has a great nursing program that is a challenge to get into because it is competetive but the education is the best and well known. Liberty is greatly involved in community service around Lynchburg and across the United Sates and even the world. There are many opportunities for students to get involved in sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, football, and many more. The one thing that makes Liberty University stand out the most is its foundation in Jesus Christ. There is great Christian leadership at Liberty and that what makes them love the students unconditionally.

This school is really about preparing you for life and developing who you are. The professors are good about having a relationship with you and helping you to suceed not only at school, but in other parts of your life. It is a christian school that really capitilizes on being a real christian out in the world and not just acting like a christian inside of the church.

There is always a positive Christian attitude. All of the professors genuinely want each student to grow in their spiritual lives.

As a Christian, I want to learn more about God and how I can deepen my relationship with Him. Liberty gives me multiple chances to do so every week. We have three times a week chapel and also take Bible classes. There is so much to offer and I don't just learn Math and English, but I learn about my faith as well. Liberty is the kind of university that incorporates your faith with any subject you can think of.

It is the largest Christian university in the world, yet is is also firmly rooted in the Word of God. It boasts many opportunities to brighten one's future. Also, the professors are approachable and they pray before each lesson.

I am able to do my schooling online, with lot's of support online and over the phone.

Liberty University is the largest Christian university in the world with over 100,000 online and residential students. I chose Liberty because of its passion for training champions for Chirst and its compassion for the world.

Our rooms are checked to make for sure we have discipline in our life and nothing going on. We have to be in at midnight so nothing interferes with out school work. We have loads of things to do. Ice skate, flex mountain, horse back riding, hiking and 20 or so completive sportsl. Wondered realationships with people because of the common need to live for God. The weekend is not party time with drink here unless it's hot chocolate. LOL We love the peace that is created here and the weel being. I feel safe and secure.

In the words of Jerry Falwell, "If it's Christian, it should be better", Liberty sure does live up to its name. Not only does Liberty provide top educational opportunities for students, it also provides an extraordinary campus full of activities and sporting events for all levels of competition. From concerts to snowboarding, to horsebackriding, and Division I sports, as well as campus church and convocation, there is something for everyone here. Liberty truly is a spiritual powerhouse and the place to search the deep questions in life.

This is the only university I could find that truly taught from God's Word and believed in Creation science.

The unique asset they offer, is a Christian influence in the lessons you take and the instructors you have. I have felt very connected to the people in Academic Advising. I have called them many times, and they are always willing to listen to what I have to say, and they care about your problem you are having.

It's distinctively Christian, we pray before every class, we have a higher standard of morals and conduct code. Liberty is like liveing in a little section of heaven. its almost unreal, everybody is so nice and level-headed, its a lot of innocent and pure fun, not like other colleges with druggs and immature stunts. I love this school, i wouldnt have it any other way.

Liberty is a Christian school with an empahsis on training champions for Christ. It is encouraged in whatever field that you go into that you share your faith.

What I find unique about Liberty University is the Christian environment they offer. The emphasis is right where it needs to be in order to help the students succeed. They offer a wonderful variety of residential classes as well as online education opportunities. Liberty makes the task of going back to school later in life much easier to bear.

Liberty University is Christ centered and as a result, we are all connected by that. There are a few people on campus who are not believers, but the school still welcomes them as well. Also, there is just so much school spirit here; it is a family type of atmosphere.

This is the only private Christian liberal arts university that I have found that offers Aviation as a major. I am very excited by and interested in their growing aeronautics program.

Liberty has such a love for its students like no other college I've ever seen before. Even though its a huge college the professors and deans/administration treat the students as his or her own person and not a number. They go out of their way to help you , build relationships with students and do everything in their power to make sure you get the most out of your education even if it means on the phone late at night helpin with an assignment. The college is big but the closeness is like nothing before. Were a family.

Our school was unique in that the founder of the school (who is now deceased) would mingle with the students around campus. I feel very blessed to be a part of a school where the founder and president would meet and great with the students. Dr. Jerry Falwell actually saw me perform in Ragtime.

Liberty University is unique because it is a conservative campus. Originally I thought I wouldn't enjoy that, however within the first semester I realized how greatful I was for the rules and values. Campus is very clean. If students want to party they take it off campus. Drugs and alcohol are not tollerated on campus. In the classroom there is a dress code to prepare students for the profesional world. Morals and character building are empasised. People are generally kind here and we have very little teft or violence. I feel safe to walk alone on campus at night.

Lots of activities, encourages relationships with co-students, reasonably priced, high values/character.

The layout for the online school is very easy to follow.

The leadsership team; all of the students are loved by each other, and there is a huge support system unlike anywhere else in the world. This university is not perfect but it does a good job of embodying the love and discipleship that Christ practiced with His followers.

Liberty University is the world's largest evangelical university. Their goal is to become a world class university and they strive for that by instilling strong Christian principles in all that they teach. The university is unlike any other in many senses. One of these features is the brand new Snowflex.

The most unique thing about Liverty University is its strong ties to Christianity even though it is still a Liberal arts institution. Spirtual growth is encouraged and strict rules implemented but it is still a place of freedom and education.

Liberty has a curfew. We have many other rules, like no alcohol or smoking, no sexual activity, etc... It's all to keep our minds and hearts pure. Liberty University meets 3 times a week as an entire student body (12,000 students on campus) to listen to many prestigious speakers and artists. It's the world's largest Christian university, and it truly lives up to what it claims. God is the center of the school, no doubt!

Liberty University is a training ground for young Christians to grow in their faith and us their educations to benefit the world for Christ. Perhaps the greatest thing about Liberty is the community that is instilled within us. All students attend convocation three times a week connecting us to each other through praise and worship. Every student is treated with uniquely valued and prayed for by name.

If you are a transfer you will struggle. The students can be exclusive and it can be hard to join a group but overall Liberty is really a great school!

Liberty University is the largest Christian University in the world.

I attend the online university at this school. This allows me to stay at home to do all my course work, which means I get to spend more time with my friends and family.

The faculty and staff at Liberty University, specifically those within the Department of Education, are the most nurturing, student-focused, diligent, and involved faculty than that of any other University. The faculty in which I interact provides a more than ordinary learning environment but rather an environment in which to achieve success and become a well-rounded individual. Whether providing words of encouragement, an outlet to vent, support during difficult circumstances, or attendance at an extra-curricular activity, the faculty at Liberty University have literally changed my life and have helped mold me into the woman I have become.

The people at Liberty are so welcoming and you feel at home the minute you step on campus. The academics are very important but there is a great social atmosphere, you will never be bored at Liberty.

They stand by the morals and principles of truth and integrity. I believe that this challenges students to be better individuals and to work harder on their education.

Liberty has the best faculty I've ever seen. They will go to amazing lengths to help out students while at the same time, not giving them free points that they do not deserve (because the purpose of college is to prepare you for the real world, not just take your money and give you a grade). It is strongly Christian and our lives on campus revolve around Christ first, then the city around us, not alcohol. Most people on campus TRULY care about you and who you are.

There teachers here are 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} in love with Christ adn they are very helpful and they care about you as the student. I have a teacher that flat out says "I love you" to his class and it's awesome. The Chancellor is flat out amazing.
