I wish I would have known how many cliques would be formed between the athletes vs. the locals. It is uncommon to see the two intermixing.
One thing that may take some getting use to is how rural the campus is, meaning that it is going to be a bit of a drive to go out and do somethings, this can be a good thing though because then I won't have many distractions from my school work and soccer.
The fact that there is no social life on or off campus, this is a major reason why i plan on transferring next semester to a school where this exists, another thing i wish i knew was how distant this campus is. By this i mean it seems that the students here are not connected by anyway, everyone is out for themselves, but are not cutthroat.
Classes at Lincoln Memorial University are challenging! There are no "easy" classes and there is no time to coast. You have to put 100% effort into your studies, but in the end it will be worthwhile!
I wish I had known more about the new, fun things that the school offers. Such as, a rope swing course, its access to the Cumberland Gap Trail, and how many volunteering positions that the school can introduce me to.
