Being that Lincoln University is not a huge school a lot of the experiences that you have with professors are very personal. Majority of time professors will remember your name if you are showing up to class. There will be your share of students who do compete with each other for the highest grades in hopes to have the higher GPA. A lot of times class participation depends on the teacher's teaching methods. If the teacher is interesting or has a exciting way of teaching then there maybe a high amount of participation where as teachers who just read and lecture in a monotone voice its very likely participation will be low. In my major of Mass Communications everything is very hands on meaning you will get to interact with your professor. Most of what you will learn will teach you things about your major but it's mainly preparing you for both the real world and the career you get into.
