I have been attending the Belleville campus since the end of August. I like that the campus is small. It creates a community like atmosphere. I am a student athlete and I feel that the school is supporting me in this aspect. There is plenty of assistance for the students to achieve their goals both academically and athletically.

Lindenwood is an alright campus. I would consider this place if you strive in a big campus with a small number of students. There are 15-30 students in a given course. The students are either from the surrounding area or are international. Sports are big here. Keep in mind if you want to participate in a sport, you are required to stay on campus.

I really enjoy my school. The campus is gorgeous and the people are super nice in the area. It is close enough to the city to enjoy what it offers and far enough away to not deal with the craziness. The professors are all amazing and most will give you their personal cell phones to reach them. Housing is really nice. Food is usually gross, but there are good days and bad days. I love how my program works with the other arts programs to put together the shows. I love my ensembles. The choirs are pretty decent seeing as most of the non-auditioned choirs are mostly students who are non-majors and have never read sheet music before this class. It is also very close to downtown St. Charles where there are hundreds of cute shops, restaurants, and bars.

I absolutely love Lindenwood! I had toured a few other campuses before I came to check out what Lindenwood had to offer. As soon as I parked and stepped out of the car and onto Lindenwood grounds, I knew I had found my place. This university has so much history and charm! The grounds are beautiful all year round, and placed around are these swings that are just lovely to sit on between classes. I live on old campus, which in my opinion is the best place to live! It's so close to all of my classes and has a pretty view of the entire campus. I would highly recommend Lindenwood University for anyone

I recently graduated with my Bachelor's Degree at LU. I am now enrolled to begin a Master's program in Professional Counseling. Overall I felt as though Lindenwood has been a great experience and I am excited to begin my next steps there as well. Over the last few years Lindenwood as been making numerous changes to the campus and each has been a great improvement.

I chose Lindenwood because of the smaller class sizes and their academic reputation. My experience so far has been great. The campus is laid out well, there are plenty of organizations and activities to participate in, and the teachers are always available to help me.

Great school! I think books are a little over priced that the teachers use.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Lindenwood University – Belleville has been one of the best decisions I have made in my college career. I am a 3rd time transfer student who lives a non-traditional student life. I work full time and attend class full time. Lindenwood University has that small town vibe but still helps provide big town opportunities. The small class size and communication between professors is a huge plus for me. I love being able to communicate one on one with my professors whether it is over email, before or after class, or during a private meeting that we set up. There is a lot of opportunity to stay in the loop with what is going on in class. Either you can communicate with your professor, you are kept up to date using the Canvas portal, or there is plenty of opportunity to communicate with your class mates throughout campus. With Lindenwood having both the Belleville and St. Charles campuses the amount of opportunities has sky rocketed. There are constant emails and notifications about paid and unpaid internships with local companies that can lead to potential jobs. Lindenwood’s flexibility allows for people to live nontraditional student lives while earning their degree. They have a full day time class schedule as well as a night class schedule with more and more classes being added every year. I give Lindenwood University two big thumbs up!
