7 Students rated Loma Linda University
Loma Linda University is a school that encourages academic excellence, a sense of camaraderie and fellowship and a dedication to developing a relationship with Christ. All these things and many more make Loma Linda University an amazing place to learn and grow. The motto of the institution is "To Make Man Whole" and faculty, staff and students embody this clause. The institution is committed to health and healing and I proud to not only be an alumna but a prospective student once again.
Loma Linda is an excellent university in terms of academics and promoting spiritual growth in the classroom. The professors at Loma Linda are extremely passionate about what they teach and making sure that students can always reach them. If you like the feel of smaller classroom sizes, you will feel right at home. Their anesthesia program is ranked amongst the top in the nation, with a first time passing rate well above 90%. What the university does lack is student services. The cafeteria hours are extremely limited and serve the same food each week. The library does not have enough dedicated study rooms and staff are less than friendly to accommodate special needs. Considering Loma Linda is a small private university and does not have the advantages of public funding, the small inconveniences of poor student services is far outweighed by their premier academic standing.
it is very good school Instructors have a lot of teaching experience and very organized. everyone I meet is so nice and very helpful.
Loma Linda University is an university that is dedicated to ensuring their students are learning in the best possible environment. Their simulation center is incredible and comes in handy for learning on non-real patients before real human interaction. It's a good Christian environment.

I would tell myself to plan some down time. I spent so much time studying that I didn't leave any down time and that really drained my the first quarter. Some down time is needed keep everything in persepective.
It's a very religious and conservative school. My favorite thing about it is that it is small and everyone is very friendly.
I don't have anything negative to say because I am only starting graduate school at LLU this fall of 2012. I clicked the wrong answer, and there was no way to go back and change it on the survey.
Loma Linda University is a student based school. Everything that they do is based for the success of the student. The faculty is always available to answer any of your questions. Unlike other schools that I have dealt with I have never felt that LLU was giving me the run around. All it takes is to ask one person and you will always be pointed in the right direction the first time. I believe that the schools first goal is to see it's students succeed!
My classmates are very supportive and positive individuals who are all focused on achieving the same goal of becoming a nurse.
One with great integrity, who is religious, and not a partier
Someone who is willing to work hard and wants to go into the medical field. Loma Linda is very accepting of all students, regardless of race, ethnicity, etc.
It is a fiancial hardship to attend
School of Medicine and perhaps healthcare professionals.
The christian atmosphere is a great place to learn in and it keeps me centered.
How much monetary aid I would really need
Loma Linda University is such a wonderful healthcare profession school. All the professors and students here are friendly and helpful. In addition, there are so much you can learn around the campus besides your basic education. The school offers life learning seminars for all students such as speech about "how to work with different personalities" and "How to manage your debt when you are out of school". I am loving my school and would recommend for anyone who is considered a profession in healthcare.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
