Los Angeles City College boasts a wonderfully diverse group of students. All ethnicities and socioeconomic backrounds are represented. The psychology department boasts a group of intelligent, dedicated students commited to learning how to become effective counselors. Many of these students in the Human Services field are recovering addicts and alcoholics who have turned their lives around with their personal experience to guide them into their present scholastic endeavors and future career choices. I am proud to include myself among this unique group of people who want to give back and helping others struggling with the disease of addiction.
My classmates at Folsom Lake College are average students, usually between the ages of 18 and 25, and are nice and friendly yet they keep to them selves quite a bit.
I have yet to start at this school, so I will reserve my comments since I have no experience with the other students.
