If you're looking for a school that cares about it's students, that makes you work hard and think, then attend Pierce College; they take care of all their students needs. If, however, you're looking for a school that just takes your money and puts you through the motions of college then go somewhere else, this school is not for you.

A very preppy, rich, snobby-ish, sort of person shouldn't attend this school, as the campus, at least in some areas, is kind of run-down due to being under construction, and they might freak. The campus pretty much fits everyone else though.

Poeple who don't know what career they want to pursue. If your going to Pierce just to go through the motions, and are not motivated, then it's like a death trap. I spent 5 years of my life at Pierce, now I am finally on the verge of transfering. Do yourself a favor, Don't waste your life at a community college. Pursue a University right out of high school, otherwise good luck getting back on track.

I think its a great school. any one can attend. Its a large campus so if you prefer a small setting, this might no be the place for you. Classes are all full and its hard to get into them.

I was attending a university before attending Pierce community college, which is where i'm at now. A community college is not for people who want to be in small classrooms or to be on a small campus. A community college also has less resources, like the amount of books, than a university has. If you want to be really challenged in class than a community college might not be the best.

The kind of person that should not attend Los Angeles Pierce College is a person that does not want to further their education after High School.

Pierce College is a really good place to take general transfer classes but if someone wants to explore a certain major then they should look into the school that carries that major.

A person who is not looking for a fast-track program into a four-year university. The goal of many Pierce College students is to be on a fast paced schedule of courses. A student who does not believe community college is important should not attend my school. Ideal Pierce College students take their community college coursework as important as university students take their work. To transfer, a student needs to prove they have been successful in community college.
