Los Angeles Pierce College Top Questions

The best thing about my school is that it is an extremely conservative environment. The students here know what they are here for (well, at least most of them), and that all starts with the professors. The professors here unconditionally teach and care about the students academic success and will go out of their way to help. The school is friendly, safe, and one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Aside from the beauty and agriculture, the teachers themselves are inspiring and generate new ways of thinking critically about different subjects. For example how to ask question and what questions to ask, the science of interactions, and planning to use time wisely. These are just a few of the many subjects I've learned over the course of my first few weeks and ongoing school career.

Pierce is ok with the campus security it provides, and it has a big spacious library. It does offer a tutoring center, but there is a minimum 1 hour wait just to get some help sometimes. Other than that the main gym is ok.

The gratest thing about Los Angeles Pierce college is the staff and teachers that actually seem to care how you do in school. I am still relatively new to the entire college experience therefore I am filled with questions all the time. The entire staff at Pierce college has been nothing but wonderful while helping me plan my future.

College brings a variety of things you do not receive in high school. The many cultures which you come upon as well as people from out of state bring a different perspective into your life. You are provided with ample opportunities which assist in deciding what it is you want to do in your future. Pierce truly gives you the opportunity to succeed with all the assistance you may need.

Not only is the school conviently located you also have easy access to couselors and professors. Pierce Community College also provides preparation for my transfer to a 4 year university.

I think out of all the other community colleges in the district, Pierce is definitely the most diverse in terms of ethnicity and differences in general. I love going to a campus knowing that there are people different than I so that I can learn more. I would never want to go to a school full of a bunch of clones because I feel I would never learn anything about any cultures or different walks of life. Even different generations come to the campus to learn. It definitely enriches my education.
