It's a great school for those who are trying to save up for a four-year university. The professors there are easily accessible due to the smaller classrooms so it is easy to get help. There are quite a few extra activities outside of campus but for the most part this school is great for just gaining an education.
Los Medanos College has fantastic teachers who genuinely care about their students. There are many opportunities such as joining MESA, PUENTE, and other programs.
Los Medanos College is honestly welcoming and a very helpful environment. I am a concurrent enrollment student but I still am treated equally as the other, I get a counselor when needed, tutoring services, and other support services. The teachers are very understanding as well as the counselor.
You will get some good teachers and some bad teachers. The Counselors are not that helpful. I have met with a counselor and she told me inaccurate information which caused me a lot of stress when applying to transfer. It is often difficult to find parking. Most students are nice.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Los Medanos College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would have studied more so when I got to high school It wouldn't be so hard for me.
nothing
y school is wonderful, there are great teachers, and it is a great place to get an education.
The most frusterating thing about LMC has to be te mass amount of students and very little classes.
My classmates are really helpful to me. we help each other when we need help. we study together, and so mostly all our school stuff together. classmates are people who listen to each and help each other.
Faculty available to students. Flexible class schedules. Variety of class choices. People / Classmates are friendly and helpful. Also, financial aid reps are extremely helpful and pro student.
Maybe they could be a little bit more up to date with all their materials and supplies at school.
The kind of people that should attend this college is anybody from future high school graduates, most recent and past high school graduates, single parents, and people decided to go back to school to recieve their associates degree in their desired major.
Any one that is not serious about school should not attend at all.
The people on the campus are pretty chill, the rallies for football and transfer day are pretty live, they have all the passionate majors such as psychology and business, and the counselors are really friendly and will help you plan out the rest of your academic year for next semester.
I consider the smaller class sizes and the availability of courses to be the best things about LMC.
My school has smaller class sizes.
Los Medanos College or LMC for short is a community driven school. Everyone works together to make the best for everyone.
The teachers provide quality
I'm not a member of any clubs and don't go to any games. My main focus is my classes and the Experience, the school newspaper which has won at 16 awards at the last conference we participated in. The LMCAS or student government is always open to speak to students about what ever they worry about. The athletic department has several different teams from football to volleyball that have won several games.
I don't pay much attention to the stereotypes on campus to be honest. We have such a diverse student body it's hard to tell at times who is who except human or age.
