What are your classes like?

I love all of my classes. They are all education related. I like going out to different elementary schools every week.

I am not sure what this question is implying but my interpretation is how are they structured? It is not unusual to have 100 students or more in a typical class. I have had a couple with 500 or more. The classes of this size are typical for your first couple of years on the campus, but later on into senior level courses those numbers drop. I think about 40 students on average in my classes this semester.

My classes are pretty challenging. Just about every one of my classes is either a science or math class though. I pretty much have to go to every class and study as much as possible while trying to balance out a social life. Just because they are challenging though, doesn't mean I don't enjoy them, but if I were to miss one or two days of class, I'd be completely lost when I returned. Although they take a lot of work, I still really enjoy the content taught. Most classes are usually pretty big, with my largest class being around 920 students (Biology 1201) and my smallest class being about 40 students (Calculus 2), but don't be intimidated because you can still grasp concepts pretty easily as long as you pay attention.

I just completed 16 hours in Microbiology, Honors Organic Chemistry, Interior Design, Sociology, and Intermediate Spanish. For the upcoming semester, I am enrolled to take Intermediate Spanish, Genetics, Organic Chemistry 2, an honors Leadership Development course, and Organic Lab.

Intro classes tend to be massive. I'm talking 600 students or more huge. In an auditorium. Even some upper level classes have ~150 students. If you take honors classes they are generally smaller, ranging from 20 student seminar classes to 70 student honors organic classes (vs. 150-200 student organic classes)

Being an English major, I’m allowed to partake in some pretty hippy stuff.
