Lubbock Christian University Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

Kassandra

I cannot say that there is a worst thing about Lubbock Christian University. The campus itself is beautiful, the opportunity for the entire campus to pause from classes for a bit to spend time with God is extraordinary, and everyone has a connection to each other even if you do not know them. LCU is great at informing us students of what is to come and what is offered on and off campus. I do not see anything wrong with LCU, including the campus, staff, profressors, students and opportunities.

The worst thing here (and it was actually hard to think about this one) would be the dorms. The girls' dorms have been around since at least the 60s, and they haven't changed much. The dorms carry an affectionate feel for a few family a friends that have attended here, and for the professors as well, but for the most part it's annoying when you try to turn down the air conditioning and you end up turning on the heater, and it makes the room stink. Other than that, this school is absolutely amazing! I call it home.

I do not like how small the student enrollment is. I sometimes feel like I am in high school again.

The cultural diversity is too little. Granted LCU is a Christian (Church of Christ) school, but they don't allow any room for other eligions or sexual orientations.
