Professors always know you name, they know your goals and are always helpful in finding internships within the field. The best thing about professors is they have office hours almost every day. Favorite class is abnormal psychology and least favorite class is organic chemistry. The way classes are set up truly urge class participation because we have dialogue classes, instead of the teacher lecturing students, students can learn from each other. I think we have an even distribution of students who are competitive and those who aren't. However I do feel like certain majors are more competitive such as biology, psychology, criminal justice, and business
Love it. Love how the prof are, and love that it's community service oriented.
dont get me mistaken, there are some ok teachers at lynn. the others you would think graduated from lynn themselves. they faculty babysit you and try and hold your hand through the coursework letting excuses and other things fly by. the courses of course dont transfer anywhere which is a smart buissness act on the colleges part so after one year there you are stuck unless you want to venture out and do one more year at an actual college.
I love classes here at Lynn for the most part. My business professors help me so much in my career aspirations and I feel as though I am guided in the right direction. I think the academic requirements are decent but could be a little more in depth.
Lynn’s Academic Life is definitely geared towards getting a job. Every class that I have taken I have done things to add to my portfolio, some class requirements are even to assemble a portfolio of your work. Your classes leave you prepared for entering the job market with a running start because you already have those hands-on experiences and the tools to prove it.
